Status And Strategy Of Agricultural Production In The Low Paddy Field At Cangwu County

Cangwu County is located in east of Guangxi, the joined region of Xun River and Gui River, with 4127 hectare low paddy field which accounted for 16.85% of total paddy field area. This special geographical environment badly influenced the agricultural production at Cangwu County especially in low paddy field. Therefore, this thesis analyzed agricultural production conditions in the low paddy field at Cangwu County, existed problems and reasons, and then proposed corresponding suggestions based on investigation and analyse so as to offer some considerations for agricultural production improvement in low paddy field at Cangwu County.Results showed that the main problems of agricultural production in the low paddy field at Cangwu County were as follows: (1) The disaster of flood was serious; (2) Soil fertility, yield per unit area and economic effects were low; (3) The grain crops were the main crop while the commercial crops were less in planting; (4) Agriculture, stock-raising and fishery development were unbalance, the proportion of livestock husbandry and fishery was very low; (5) The farmland foundation facilities was bad, there were much waste paddy field; (6)...
