Thanks to the unique shell color and its varietal specialty, blue egg is exploited as a functional feed with wide market foreground. In this research a blue shell resource family is built up, and further genetic analysis is done to the color of blue eggshell, in order to study the heredity law of the color for blue egg, and the blue color gene is orientated. In the molecule study, four marker near the blue shell gene are selected to be orientated. Among those, mcw0112 and ADL0150 are no polymorphism in the silver stained gel. According to the mark of EV1 and MCW0058 as well the phenotypes record of blue egg, the orientation is done to blue shell gene. The result showed that they are concatenate for blue shell gene and EV1 mark, which establish a base for further study of gene clone and its function. The main outcomes of this research are as follows:1. An intact blue egg stirp is established, and there are detailed records of their characters, all of these become the basis of the future work of the clone for blue shell gene. In the blue egg strip we established, the color of F1 generation blue egg strip is analyzed, it is sure that a delomorphic gene control the color of blue shell. In the research of F2 generation blue egg strip, the heredity laws of the shell color, which are of the whole brethren and the half brethren, are studied, at last confirm that the dominating gene which control the blue shell color is a delomorphic gene of certain quality character. Besides, in the process of color separation of F2 generation eggs, the rate of blue eggs and brown eggs is 3:1, which is accord with Mendel's law of inheritance, but also a hereditary mode mapping about color of blue egg is built.2. In the determine of egg quality, there are no differences in the egg weight, shell strength and shell weight between blue eggs and brown eggs, while, there exist significant difference in the shell color, color ratio of yolk and egg shape index between blue and brown eggs(P<0.05=. In F2 generation, only shell color has significant difference in the all quality characters(P<0.05= , others are none.3. Blue shell gene lies in the No.1 chromosome, between EV1 and MCW0058, and the genetic distance for blue shell gene with them are 3.2cM and 13.9cM separately, while the genetic distance between EV1 and MCW0058 is 17.5cM. The lods between EV1 and blue shell gene is 3.35, between MCW0058 and blue shell gene is 3.43.
