Forest Health Assessment On Pinus Tabulaeformis Forest In Badaling Forest Center

Taking the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center as study subject, through biomass, NPP, biodiversity Simpson index, forest fire, restoration degree and ecosystem service value six-part's study, using forest health assessment model,this paper has studied on the health assessment in the Badaling forest center, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) The average biomass of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is 55.86 t/hm~2,and the arbor layer biomass is 54.85t/hm~2, which made up 98.19% of the total biomass;the shrub layer biomass is 0.77 t/hm~2, which made up 1.38% of the total biomass;the herb layer biomass is 0.24 t/hm~2, which made up 0.43% of the total biomass.(2) The average NPP of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is 3.14 t/hm~2-a,,and the arbor layer NPP is 2.58 t/hm~2-a, which made up 82.17% of the total biomass;the shrub layer NPP is 0.32 t/hm~2-a,which made up 10.19% of the total biomass;the herb layer NPP is 0.24 t/hm~2-a, which made up7.64% of the total biomass.(3) The maximal Simpson index of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is 5.35, the minimal Simpson index is 2.28,and the the average Simpson index is 4.07. The arbor layer of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest grows relatively well, Simpson index is relatively small.(4) with the cluster analysis methods, taking the altitude , forest coverage, the management measure, the distance to travel sites, the superiority trees and the distance of wood-road as the six cluster factors,the paper gets the result that the sub compartments inI grade of forest fire are 8 , the sub compartments in II grade of forest fire are 6, the sub compartment in III grade of forest fire is only 2.(5) Studied on the restoration degree of volume and tree height of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center,the results show that the average restoration degree of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is 0.41,and the restoration degree of volume is 0.43, the restoration degree of tree height is 0.39.(6) Assessed on the ecosystem service value of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center,and the paper divides the value into direct value and indirect value,and the indirect value is the direct value of 23.45 times,the result shows that the average ecosystem service value of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is 13,100 yuan /hm2-a.(7) The forest health divides into the health, the sub health ,the normal health and the ill health four kinds.using the forest health index, calculating on the investigation date of the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center.the result shows that the the Pinus tabulaeformis forest's sub compartments in the the sub health are the most ,10, which made up 62.50% of the total number,the health and the normal health sub compartments are 3, which made up 18.75% of the total number,the ill health is none. Because the sub health forest's sub compartments is more than 50% of total number,the Pinus tabulaeformis forest in Badaling forest center is in the condition of sub health.
