Elite variety is the base of high yield, and impure variety will lower yield. So, it is good for seed standardization, variety approval and identification, property protection, to identify variety and analyze variety purity. Genetic diversity and relationships of germplasm resources in crop is the base of breeding. Evaluation of genetic diversity among cultivars can help to assign parent and predict genetic variety and heterosis, which it is the key of implementing breeding object. In this paper, 41 varieties from Hebei province have been used to investigate agronomic traits, and constructed cluster dendrogram. Based on the SSR and AFLP analysis, we analyzed the genetic diversity and constructed the DNA fingerprinting of these cultivars. The main results were as follows:1. 10 polymophic AFLP primer combinations and 30 pairs SSR primer were selected to perform the SSR and AFLP fingerprinting. In the SSR-DNA fingerprinting, 29 cultivars have specific bands, accounted for 70.7%. The identification efficiency was different in all primers. The primer Satt268 have high identification efficiency, can identify 9 varieties. In the AFLP-DNA fingerprinting, 36 cultivars have specific bands, accounted for 87.8%, the primer combination M60/E33 can identify 25 varieties.2. With the morphological characters, these varieties all could be divided into four groups. Analyzing their average of agronomic characters:FG I has the least branch and branch pods(0.91 and 3.30). FGâ…¢ has the highest rough fat (21.72%);FGâ…¡ has the highest plant height (103.60cm)and longest growth period(103.58d), belonged to serotinous variety group;FGâ…£ has the highest 100-seed-weight( 27.75g) and rough protein (42.38%), and the shortest growth period (97.75d ), belonged to premature variety group.3. There are 135 alleles were amplified by 30 SSR primers and with the mean of 4.5, Satt586 and Satt268 respectively amplified 8 alleles;10 AFLP primer combination amplified 93 polymorphic band and with the mean of 9.3, the primer combination M82/E36 amplified 15 polymorphic band .4. Integrating the data of SSR and AFLP, with clustering analysis, these varieties wereclustered into four SAGs, there are 13 varieties in SA 1, 20 varieties in SAG II, and respectively 3 varieties in SAGIII and SAGIV, two special varieties are niumaohuang and jichengdou3hao...
