Rhododendron hybridum Hort., repeatedly hybridizd by a bank of the R.indicum,R.simsii and R.mucronatum and so on, is the most, the most beautiful kind in color or design. Guizhou's climate, which is characterized by much rain,moist,temperate in climate,no severe cold in winter,no heat in summer, is very suitable for Rhododendron hybridum hort. However,the azalea industry of Guizhou has not developed, an important reason is the question of cultivation technology except that flowers industry of Guizhou started later and the development is still not perfect. We must have further to understand its biology characteristic, study its cultivation technology if we want to plant well and making it produce economic benefits.(1)Through investigation record,experimental study and statistical analysis, the paper have studied Growth Dynamics of Rhododendron hybridum hort..Result is as following:1)Rhododendron hybridum hort. made sticks 1—5 sticks, the average is 3.3 sticks.The shape is better and the average is 2.2-2.4 sticks after having been builted;2) that the horizontal direction of roots is expanded fast, the vertical direction is relatively small, reflect the light root; Development of roots was shown in an increase of fibrous root, so it is very important to protect fibrous root;3) That R/S increases year by year, but even if grows for three years it is also only 0.424, reflect a weak adaptive capacity of Rhododendron hybridum hort., and need a careful treatment in cultivation;4)Rhododendron hybridum hort. can grow well from Mar. to Dec. in plastic shed of Guiyang city,while it stop growing from Jan. to Feb.;4)Regression equation of base stems(D),the high(H)and leaf number(Y):D=0.200H+0.001Y; Nonlinear regression equation:W=a (D2H)~b suited to predict the biomass of the roots, stems and leaves and plant of Rhododendron hybridum hort. 5)The distribution and content of majority nutritive elements are related to the organizational structure and the function of the azalea:N,P,K,leaf > stem > root;N,leaf > stem > root > flower;P,flower > leaf > stem > root;K,leaf > flower > stem > root;Ca,Mg,S,leaf > stem or root > flower;Fe,root > leaf > stem > flower;Mn,root > stem > leaf > flower;Zn,leaf> root > stem >flower;The content of Mn,Fe,Zn,N,P,and K follow the rule approximately in different periods:growing periodbloom period< fadedness period,assumes "N" the deformation;Ca and S: growing periodfadedness period;Mg: growing period fadedness period.It provided the scientific basis for rational fertilization.(2)Through the investigation and practice,the paper summarized in detail pot...
