| From 2004 to 2005 at Shandong Agricultural University Teaching Base effects of irrigation and four different planting patterns ( flat planging,"20+40"planting patterns , bed planting , furrow planting) on water consumption , growth and development of winter wheat and summer maize was studied under conditions of field and pond in order to supply theoretic foundation for winter wheat and summer maize water-saving cultivation. And the main results are as follows:1. Effects of irrigation and planting patterns on water consumption rules and characteristics of winter wheat.Irrigation can affect moisture content in surface soil layers and with the depth of soil changes of soil moisture content is reduced gradually. Irrigation can markedly affect distribution of water content in soil from surface to 120cm. Soil water of irrigated treatments distributes more equably between 40cm and 100cm than non-irrigated treatments, while an obvious inflexion occurs at 60cm soil layers of non-irrigated treatments. 4 days after irrigation soil moisture between 0 and 30 cm increase remarkably while the increasing extent at deeper soil layers is much less.12 days after irrigation soil moisture between 0 and 30 cm decreased remarkably, while soil moisture at deeper soil layers go on increasing due to the movement of soil water. The experiment results showed that irrigation can affect the supply of soil water at different depth. At different growth stages water consumption per day increases with the increase of the amount of irrigation. For the irrigated treatments soil layers supplying water go upward while the non-irrigated treatments can utilize more water at deeper soil layers. Irrigation can increase the amount of water in the soil. Before booting due to little rainfall and irrigation water in the soil decrease and then soil water began to increase for irrigation and after grouting for the... |
