Blackberry is a kind of bacca plants, belonging to Rubns of Rosaceae. It is one of the earliest fruit trees for beginning to bear fruit, and has been planted and eaten for thousands of years in North America and Europe. As a fruit with high eating and food processing quality, it contains many useful substances to human health such as Se, Vitamine K, Vitamine E, SOD, GABA (γ-propalanine), which can resist to oxide, apolexis, cancer etc. It is also contains pigment (anthocyanin), which is the best material of nature red and black food dye. So blackberry is a multifunction fruit tree with highly economic value. It is called the third generation fruit tree. Blackberry is photophilic, hygrophilous, thermophilus, so it is suit to live in the Temperate zone and the Subtropical zone. To develop the blackberry industy in polluted area can meliorate the soil and put the viresence and afforestation into practice, it also can develop montanic economic. The damage of salt injury is great to agricultural production. China has a large area of saline, which strictly restrict the economical development in these areas, especially in the upcountry. How to improve and utilize the salinized-soil becomes an important work of recovery and rebuild of environment in Go-West Campaign. Many researches discovered that the growth of plants was improved under salt stress with AMF (Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi, AMF) inoculation. The plants symbiosed with AMF can mitigate the loss of production caused by salt injury and improve the salt resistance in sanline soil. China is one of the countries which are short of water. A lot of experiments showed that AMF can improve the water condition and the drought resistance of the plants. Many plants can form the arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) structure in the natural condition. The arbuscular mycorrhiza is a sort of beneficial symbiont between plant roots and AMF. It was known that the AMF could protect host plants against environmental stress and promote plant growth. Blackberry can form the AM structure either, so choose the suitable AMF is important for increasing the transplant survival rate, growth potential and the nursery stock quality. The study of blackberry in China lays emphasis upon the planting and tissue culture techniques. Now, the study of the use of...
