| Schisandga Chinensis Baill is a wild fruit and naturely distributed in the northeast of China, far-east area of Russia and Korea .The berries are rare Chinese medical herbs in China and resources for processing juice beverage and widely used. Since 2000 Schisandga Chinensis Baill has been selected major developing variety in modern science and technology industrial base construction of Chinese medical herbs in Jilin province. Which the continuously deep advancing of modern base construction of Chinese medical herbs, the limited factors have arisen: There is a shortness of good varieties and young plants production supply can't meet the need of huge area production. In this paper ,in order to raise the planting yielding and herbs quality of Schisandga Chinensis Baill, the author analyses the characters of cluster size, flower numbers of bearing branch and size, shape, color and maturation period of berry according to three years' research .The results showed that those characters were stable and close correlation with yielding forming and berry quality. According to the analysis of those breeding characters, the author puts forward the breeding aim and the way in future to provide theoretical basis for developing Schisandga Chinensis Baill effectively.
