The Interconvertible Model of site index describes the correlative connection between site indexes of different species on the same site, using math model to give voice to qualitative connections in quantitative means, to make the connection be more intuitionistic. So, on condition that the site index of present tree species is known, it can calculate the other site index on the same site. This method has instructional function on reasonable planting and cutting-blank renewal, which has been proved on abroad, and many studies have been carried on correlative models on different site indexes. But the studies of these mainly concentrate on math models of single species and simulation precision about them, and few studies on Interconvertible Model at home. This paper firstly has studied Interconvertible Model on site index on Fir and Pinus massoniana in Xuefeng Mountain site type subdistrict. Using SPSS 12.0 and math knowledge, to analyze plot partnership dates of site indexes of Fir and Pinus massoniana in Xuefeng Mountain. On condition that the dependent and independent variable can convert, to progress curve equation simulation, by eleven kinds of usual math models; according to effective variable that affects site quality of Xuefeng Mountain site type subdistrict: the altitude, geomorphical, esplanade, brae location, brae orientation, and thickness of soil layer, to availably select four site factors: the altitude, geomorphical, esplanade, brae location, and has respectively processed the study of Interconvertible Model on site indexes of Fir and Pinus massoniana.Under different conditions, by the study of Interconvertible Model on site indexes of Fir and Pinus massoniana of Xuefeng Mountain, which has discovered that the Interconvertible Model on site indexes of Fir and Pinus massoniana had great error without regarding to the effects of site factors or disorderly classifying the site type of it; that the altitude and geomorphical were dominant factors that affect the Interconvertible Model on site indexes of Fir and Pinus massoniana of Xuefeng Mountain.Based on these factors of the altitude and geomorphical of Xuefeng Mountain, has...
