The sustainable development has become an important issue which is now focused by the international society. And the foundation of sustainable development is agricultural sustainable development. At the same time, protecting and improving the soil quality is the material foundation to achieving agricultural sustainable development. Moreover, soil quality has the most direct and profound influence on agricultural sustainable development. The agricultural production can continue to develop unless soil can develop primly. Soil type in the Yellow River alluvial plain is typical fluvo-aquic which is formed by the alluvial material of Yellow River. In this area, different cultivated land use types can take a more direct influence on soil quality because of the smooth topography and the very small slope. Taking Chiping County as the study area, referring to the data of evaluation of cultivated land productivity which is organized by Ministry of Agriculture, combining the correlative data of the second soil survey and using correlated software such as GIS and analytic methods of mathematical statistics, this paper systematically analyzed soil physical and chemical prosperities and the changes of soil synthetical quality among different cultivated land use types. And this research is significant for reasonable use and management of soil resources, protection of soil ecological environment and promotion of region resources environment and socioeconomic sustainable development. In the recent 20 years, land use types have changed dramatically in Chiping County, especially for the cultivated land use types. The majority of dry land has converted to other land use types, and irrigated land takes up absolutely dominant position in cereal land. Furthermore, the vegetable land's...
