Cultivated land is the most precious natural resource among land resources and the basic material for agricultural production.National food security, agricultural product quality security and ecological security are closely related to the quality of cultivated land. Therefore, higher cultivated land quality can guarantee the sustainable development of the social economy, meet the growing material needs of people and maintain social stability.protection of cultivated land is the foundation of national food security.China has a long history of farming civilization, however, long term of high-intensity and overloaded usage of cultivated land has caused serious degradation of cultivated land quality, soil pollution and damage to ecological security. This Phenomenon has issued a warning to the human being.Meanwhile, the basic national situation that imbalance in population and land resource and extensive farming methods has caused obstacles to the protection of cultivated land in China. At this stage, understanding the quality and spatial distribution of cultivated land is conducive to promoting the improvement of the quality of cultivated land and strengthening its protection. It has greatly improved the modernization and the ecological civilization of agriculture. This paper used relevant literature and theoretical methods to conduct research to construct an index system for arable land quality evaluation Data was collected and drawn through field soil sampling and drone aerial PHotograPHy.Based on ArcGIS 10.2 technology, analytic hierarchy process,DelPHi Method, spatial interpolation method and fuzzy mathematics method, the evaluation index weight and its membership degree were determined. The cumulative method was used to calculate the comprehensive index of cultivated land quality. The spatial autocorrelation analysis method was used to check and analyze the results to ensure the authenticity of the survey results.Choosing Xiangzhou District,Xiangyang City,Hubei Province as an example, the quality of cultivated land in Xiangzhou District was investigated and graded. The results are as follows:(1)The grade of cultivated land quality in Xiangzhou District is divided into nine grades with grade 4,5 and 6 grade cultivated land introduced as the main Among these, the grade 4 cultivated land is 30055.2 hectares, accounting for 18.21%;the grade 5 cultivated land is 56642.1 hectares, accounting for 34.32%;the 6 grade cultivated land 47730.1 hectares, accounting for 28.92%;other grades cultivated land shared less proportion,in which the first grade cultivated land is 297.85 hectares, accounting for 0.18%of the total cultivated land area of Xiangzhou District;the second grade cultivated land is 2261.99 hectares, accounting for 1.37%;the third grade cultivated land is 11052,1 hectares, accounting for 6.70%;the seventh grade cultivated land is 14440.7 hectares, accounting for 8.75%;the eighth grade cultivated land is 1771.02 hectares, accounting for 1.07%;the ninth grade cultivated land is 772.09 hectares, accounting for 0.47%.From this point of view, the overall quality of cultivated land in Xiangzhou District is at a medium level.(2)The cultivated land with higher quality is mainly distributed in 3 townships including Shuanggou Town,Dongjin Town and Shiqiao Town;the cultivated land with lower quality grade is mainly distributed in 3 townships including Huopai Town,Longwang Town and Huanglong Town.(3)Compared with the cultivated land in the whole region, the number of 6 evaluation indicators of cultivated land in 14 township areas of Xiangzhou District is slightly different,in which the average value of organic matter and available potassium content is at lower middle level;the average value of total nitrogen content is at medium level;the average value of available PHosPHorus content and soil bulk density is at upper middle level;the average value of slow-acting potassium content is at a good level;(4)The acidity and alkalinity of cultivated land in Xiangzhou districts are quite different and the whole area is in a weak state. The average pH value of cultivated land soil among most towns reaches the second level. The average value of soil pH is the largest in Huopai Town, reaching 5.82,and the average value of soil pH in the farmland of Longwang Town is the smallest, reaching 5.54.(5)Therefore,based on the quality of cultivated land in Xiangzhou District,I propose relevant protection measures and supervision measures, and adopt scientific methods to sustainable cultivation teaching methods, strengthen the protection of cultivated land, and promote the construction of cultivated land infrastructure. The proposal provides a reference basis for the agricultural modernization development and agricultural ecological civilization protection of cultivated land in Xiangzhou District.
