The studies were expected for the security storage of two hybrid rice combination seeds coated with seed-coating formulation (SCF), which were stored in low or normal temperature with one of the four initial moisture contents (MC) (10%, 11%, 12% and 13%), through the tests of seed vigor and a-Amylase activity in the post twelve months. The conclusions are as follows:1. The germination rates (GR) and a-Amylase activities of the seeds,whether coated with SCF or not, all went down, under all storage conditions, which indicated seed vigor's dropping.2. The differences of physical and bio-chemical changes between coated seeds with SCF and non-, were not too much, in the low temperature storage condition. The safe storage period was no more than two months, longer than which, the seed vigor would fell as well as the a-Amylase activity.3. The MC of hybrid rice combination seeds did not change much inthe duration of the storage time under the same conditions. Among the four different initial MC levers, 10% is the best, the more high the initial MC, the more rapid the seed GR (vigor) decreased.4.
