Leaf rolling includes leaf inner-rolling and outward-rolling. Leaf inner-rolling is one of the most morphological characters in plant breeding at present. This research analyzed the distribute regulation of leaf rolling and the effects between the leaf rolling and the yield of the recombinant inbred line derived from hybrids of cross of "leaf rolling rice ×leaf non-rolling rice". The leaf rolling degree of three leaves in the top of rice plants of crossbreeding offspring populations of "Guinongtonghui xChaotaixiang" was analyzed. The genetic characters of leaf inner-rolling were studied. The simple QTLs mapping to the leaf rolling degree of three leaves in the top of their F2 rice plants was achieved. The results were as follows:1 The leaf rolling exited in whole leaf lives in leaf rolling rice materials. In same single plant of leaf inner-rolling materials, from the flag leaf to the third leaf in the top of mature plant, the rolling degree decreased; and In same single plant of leaf outward-rolling materials, the rolling degree increased obviously.2 The effects of the rolling degree to the single plant yield mainly practiced by affecting other agriculture characters.3 The genetic variance of leaf inner-rolling took on about 90%. In the 90%, there was about 30% in dominance variance and dominance × environment interaction variance, and the additive genetic effect variance accounted for about 60%.The heredity of leaf inner-rolling is settled.4 The three separations rations of "Guinongtonghui xChaotaixiang" F2 populations (non-rolled leaf: semi-rolled leaf: rolled leaf) were: the flag leaf ,2:7:2; the second leaf,1:4:1; the third leaf,3:7:2. The genes of leaf rolling character showed QTLs character and incomplete dominance.5 The six QTLs that this research discovered existed in the 6th chromosome and the 10th chromosome, and they are that on the flag leaf, the second leaf and the third leaf.
