The Study Of Exploitation And Protection Of Drinking Water For People And Live-stock In Karst Areas

Gui zhou province belongs to the typical subtropical karst areas, and karstification is extraordinary wild in this area. Naba yan lies in Ping shang Town,Pu ding County, An shun Region. And it is the representative mountain cluster in karst areas. There is plenty of rainfall in Naba yan, however, for the reasons of higher mountains but lower river stage , large quantities rainfall but leaking into under ground and so resulting in the available water resources being so limited. Based on the above reasons ,Naba yan has changed into the engineering shortage of water in karst mountain areas. On-the -spot investigation ,the positive water resource characters of shallow karst water in Naba yan including emergence character, replenishment character, water supplying character, the flow and water quality of water-spot. According to the natural conditions and economic condition we adopt the models to counter the problem of drinking water for people and livestoks in Naba yan , such as the exploitation of shallow karst water, the collection and utilization of rainfall and save it. For the exploitation of shallow karst water , we bring forward the measure ,namely, the water from Jiu toupo passing in turn penstock ,aqua storage tank, outgoing through pipes, and at last arriving at the tanks locating in farms. For the collection and utilization of rainfall, we also assume the step as the collected water is filled into water tanks in farms by soft pipes , and then is stored in the tanks ,after all ,is utilized by in living and production.Analyzed the cause of the water in Jiu toupo getting acid,and the cause of Ca²⁺ and HCO₃^- a little higher. Because of the karstification , there is hydrolytic action of HCO₃^-. For the depth of embedment of shallow karst water low, the water quality is quite influenced by the humus in soil. For the synchronal action of hydrolyzation and humus, the water in Jiu toupo appears acid. The concentrations of Ca²⁺ and HCO₃^-have relationship to the actuation duration between shallow karst water and carbonate rocks,and the time is longer,the concentration densier, per contra, diluter.At the same time,in this paper studied the influencing factors of water quality,such as the material ,the depth of embedment .temperature of storage tank .
