The soil humidity and fertilizer dosages are important factors that affect the farm crop yield and qualities. The different farm crops need different fertilizer and amount of water, and a great deal of chemical element potassium with the medium quantity chemical element calcium is to the nourishment chemical element that the farm crop need. Currently, the research of the effect of fertilizer and water mainly focus on farm crop or chemical element potassium, but to the research of effect of fertilizer and water on the vegetable less. Today, lettuce is one of vegetables that has greatly cultivated in agriculture, which easily lack of calcium to make physiological maladjustment. So it is very important to research potassium and calcium with the influence of the soil humidity upon the fresh vegetable growth and quality.Expanding leaf lettuce Italy (Lactuca sativa var.) was used as the plant material in this paper. Two controlled soil water (the higher water soil and medium degree water soil). With two controlled soil water (the higher water soil and medium degree water soil), quadric regress circumrotate combi- nation design (include two factors of potassium and calcium) were used to process. This paper analyzed different soil humidity with fertilizing po- tassium and calcium to influence to the lettuce's growth and nourishment quality, and further inquired into the effect of soil water and fertilizer, the potassium and calcium mutual effect, and their physiology mechanism, etc. The result indicated that:1. Under the condition of the different soil humidity, fertilizing potassium and calcium were all could promote upper part of lettuce's growth and stem material. Analyzed from the single factor function of potassium and calcium, the function trend of potassium was greater, while the function trend of calcium was more even mild, which expressed the function of potassium for lettuce's growth greater than the function of the calcium. At the high water soil (80%90%), potassium as 0.43 gplant-1-0.81 gplant-1 and calcium as 0.03 gplant-1-0.05gplant-1 were better; to middling...
