In this paper, the biomass and productivity of 10-year and 11-year old second generation Chinese fir plantation in Huitong County were studied. Based on the surveys of mean trees, with the method of multiple regression analysis, established the mathematics models which deal with relations among the organs of tree for the Chinese fir plantation . The modes were used to estimate the biomass of this kind of stands in certain circumstances. At the same time, total biomass and the productivity, biomass structure, biomass time-lapse character, vertical distribution on the biomass of the species were analysed. The results are as following:1. Study on the surveys of the relations between various organs and factors of Chinese fir are obtained by the method of correlation analysis, and the result shows that diameter at breast height and height have the most evident relatives with various organs; The best estimating models were selected from a series of models which came from every experimental field. According to all means, The best tree biomass model for 10-year old Chinese fir plantation are selected as follows:trunk biomass model:: ln W = -4.086 + 0.929 × ln(D~2H) bark biomass model: lnW = -4.029 + 1.712×lnD-1.113×ln f branch biomass mode: W = 0.741 + 0.005 × (D~2H) - (9.2E - 007) × (D~2H)~2 leaf biomass model: ln W = -3.726 +1.881 × ln D - 10.966 × ln f root biomass model: W = 0.522+0.003×(D~2H)-(7.24E-008)×(D~2H)~2 total tree biomass model: ln W = -2.423 + 0.808 × ln(D~2H)The best tree biomass model for 11-year old Chinese fir plantation are selected as follows: trunk biomass model: W = -0.920 + 0.013 × (D~2H) - (7.5E- 007) × (D~2H)~2 bark biomass model: W = -4.337 + 2.354 × ln(D) + 2.032 × ln(f) branch biomass model: W = -0.162+0.003×(D~2H)-(1.7E-007)×(D~2H)~2 leaf biomass model: W = 0.140 + 0.003 × (D~2H) root biomass model: W = -2.079 + 4.371 × ln(D) + 12.599 × ln(f) total tree biomass model : W=-1.469+0.027×(D~2H)-(1.8E-006)×(D~2H)~2. About the 10-year old Chinese fir plantation, the branch and leaf biomass models are better than the trunk and total tree biomass models, but, the trunk and total tree biomass models...
