Preliminary Observation On The Clinical Curative Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Leg Bath In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:To explore the improvement of clinical symptom of knee osteoarthritis with Lower leg and foot soaking liquid of Chinese herbs (LSCH) and preliminarily observe the curative effect with knee osteoarthritis treated by LSCH.Method:Consulted the extensive literature through searching for CNKI, PubMed and other literature databases about traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine to related to this disease’s development and main risk factors and treatment,and especially external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine treatment with knee osteoarthritis literature,including of acupuncture,massage,exercises,and other aspects of Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease,detailly introducing my tutor Liu Changxin’s LSCH. In clinical study,it treated 30 cases of knee osteoarthritis with LSCH and prescription was based on my totur clinical experience,such as jixueteng,shenjincao,lulutong, chuanxiong,qinjiao,and other drugs.twice a week,totally 6 times, respectively accessing the WOMAC scale score before, and after treatment, analysing the score change use SPSS19.0 for data analysis.Results:Compared with the patients’WOMAC scores.it found that there was a significant difference (p<0.01).Conclusions:Treat ing knee osteoarthritis with LSCH can significantly reduce knee pain,stiffness,improve functional daily activities.It showed LSCH can significantly improve the condition of patients with knee osteoarthritis.
