Preliminary Study On The Prescription Rule Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Advanced Colorectal Cancer Based On Data Mining

Objective:Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2,0 software, through ruling data and mining analysis of traditional chinese prescription of treatment of advanced colorectal cance given by Department of Oncology with the Intergration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in China-Japan Friendship Hospital, to analyze the drug laws in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer, and to study the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of the colorectal cancer.Methods:152 traditional Chinese medical prescription for the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer from Department of Oncology with the Intergration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in China-Japan Friendship Hospital was collected.By means of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System software, using statistical method of frequency, revised mutual information method, unsupervised clustering of the entropy level, complex system entropy clustering and other unsupervised data mining methods, make sure the statistic date of the common symptoms with patients and the frequency of each herb, expore the nature and the flavour, as well as the channel tropism of herbs, determine the association rules between the medicine by mining and researching the date.Results:There were 152 prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine with the treatment of colorectal cancer, including 260 kinds of herbs. As for the clinical symptoms,syndromes of spleen deficiency and Qi stagnation,such as poor appetite, fatigue, angular, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, less breath.etc,were frequently seen. In the aspect of herbs, the drugs of the highest frequency are poria cocos, fried atractylodes, main licorice, astragalus, codonopsis, coix seed, pinellia, herba agrimoniae, radix achyranthis bidentatae.which could improve spleen and kidney, followed by heat-clearing and detoxifying herbs, Qi-regulating herbs, herbs for nourishing blood and activating blood,etc.The using herbs mostly were warm and moderate in nature,taste bit, sweet and pungent in flavour, belonged to the spleen, liver, lung, kidney, stomach in the channel tropism. Analysis about the laws of formulated prescriptions which were based on association rules summarised the use of high frequency of medicine of poria cocos-fried atractyfodes, correlation between higher medicine for mulberry parasitism-radix achyranthis bidentatae, coix seed-poria cocos. Based on the core of the complex system entropy clustering combination analysis,18 core combinations were extracted from the database.Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for the treatment of colorectal cancer were analyzed and concluded that advanced colorectal cancer’s treatment of Chinese medicine is based on supporting the healthy energy, appropriate treatment on attacking with evil is complementary. Supporting the healthy energy is given priority to benefit spleen and kidney. Attacking evil includes heat-clearing and detoxifying, counteracting toxin with toxin, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, dissipating phlegm and resolving masses, activating QI and resolving damp, etc. Attach importance to regulating spleen and stomach, reinforcing and protecting the stomach-qi.
