Objective:Research on factors in insomnia and insomniawith the state of fright and palpitation, such as negative life events, the spirit of psychological, personality, the basic characteristics of insomnia syndrome, as well as the relationship with the Hamilton Anxiety Scale, Heart energy and heart rate variability. Also discusses syndrome of TCM in patients with fright and palpitation.Methods:With the method of cross-sectional survey investigate on insomnia patients who came to the Dongzhimen Hospital from May 2014 to January 2015, carries on the general data, information questionnaire Of Chinese medical, PSQI, Hamilton anxiety scale, and the heart rate variability. Used the SPSS17.0 statistical software analyze statistical data.Results:1.The women accounted for 67.08% in Insomnia patients, Age is mainly distributed in between 40 to 60 and over 70 years old of middle-aged and the-aged people. The people who engage in mental work and have higher education accounted for 70% in insomnia patients.2. Study of negative life events found that video homework for a long time and regular exercise has a great impact on sleep.3. The people who have temper, worry love, pursuit of perfection is owed poorer sleep quality.4. Compare Insomniacs who have the states of fright and palpitation with who have no such personality characteristics, take excessive working life, easy to tension were statistically significant.5. Study of the accompanying symptoms found breast bilges full, good heave a deep sigh, upset, fatigue weakness, shortness of breath, pulse fine, think more than good, thinking, thinking is slow, sad to cry, constriction, chills, deficiency of heart uneasiness, the back of the neck was afraid of the wind has significant statistical significance.6. Study of the accompanying symptoms found the top four of the common symptoms of insomniacs with the states of fright and palpitation isupset, flustered, contemplation, forgetfulness.Syndromes characterized by hyperactivity of heart-liver fire more two deficiency,liver and kidney deficiency, deficiency of qi and blood, Guilty timidity, deficiency of Yin and Yang and business health disorders. Among syndromes of TCM, deficiency of qi and blood, Guilty timidity is the most common evidence.7. It showed that insomnia patients with the states of fright and palpitation compare with no such states, HAMA score was statistically significant.8. Study of the correlation between the insomnia patients with the states of fright and palpitation and heart rate variability, found that the index of heart energy, LF/HF and LF’mean rank were significantly greater than without the states of fright and palpitation.Conclusion:This study suggested that gender, age, occupation, education level may be associated with the onset of insomnia. The person who was female, older and have mental work in higher intellectual would be more likely to suffer from insomnia. The people who have Suffering from cervical vertebra disease, high blood pressure, long-term video operation, irregular movement and characteristics for the temper, worry love, pursuit of perfection, insomnia is more likely to happen. Insomnia with fright unrest and HAMA score show significant correlation, It is show that with fright and palpitation state of people is ease to anxiety. Syndromes characterized by hyperactivity of heart-liver fire more two deficiency,liver and kidney deficiency, deficiency of qi and blood, Guilty timidity, deficiency of Yin and Yang. Insomnia with the state of fright and palpitation than without fright uneasy state bear more pressure, and their heart is less self-regulation, the sympathetic nervous more excited.
