Objective:Chronic superficial gastritis is a very common digestive system disease in modern society with an increasing incidence in recent years. The liver-stomach disharmony syndrome accounted fora larger percentage of CSG. Western medicine in the treatment of CSG is mainly given priority to drugs to dismiss symptoms, which existed some deficiencies and defects, such as limitations of drug treatment, some drugs having large side effects, etc. There were a lot of methods for treating this disease in TCM with characteristic of safe, reliable, obvious curative effect and has no side effects, especially in improving clinical symptoms. In which the major therapies were acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. This study combined using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat liver-stomach disharmony syndrome of CSG patients, so as to observe clinical curative effect, which aims to provide evidence-based medicine evidences for acupuncture curing CSG in clinic and offer another way of clinical treatment for liver-stomach disharmony syndrome of CSG.Methods:Studying literature and clinical data related to CSG, on the basis of drawing lessons from other excellent clinical researches and according to actual situation, we have worked out relatively scientific research methods. Clinical cases were outpatient from February 2014 to February 2015 in the acupuncture and gastroenterology department of Dongzhimen Hospital of BUCM.30 patients who conformed to standard criteria were divided into the control group and the treatment group (n=15), according to the digital random method. The control group was only received Chinese herbal medicine, while the treatment group was given combined treatment of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. In both groups, we applied The Chinese Medicine Symptom Scaleã€SF-36 Scale Scores in Living Standardsã€SDS and SAS to estimate. All collected data was statistical analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical software to comprehensively evaluate clinical curative effect.Results:1. Compared clinical curative effect of TCM before and after treatment in each group, statistics showed that P in the treatment group was lower than 0.05(P=0.0010.05) and that in the control group was also lower than 0.05 (P= 0.009<0.05), which proved that two kinds of treatment can significantly improve patients’ clinical symptoms. Curative effect compared between the two groups, there are statistically significant when P=0.042<0.05, and curative effect of the treatment group is better, main symptoms improved in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, which illustrated that clinical efficacy in the group using combined treatment of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine was better than that in simplex Chinese herbal medicine treatment group when treating liver-stomach disharmony syndrome of chronic superficial gastritis.2. Compared SF-36 survival quality scores within two groups by statistical data analysis before and after treatment, results showed that P of the treatment group is 0.007(<0.05), that of the control group is 0.012(0.05), which told us that two kinds of treatment can obviously improve patients’survival quality. By statistical analyzing data between the two groups got that P=0.032<0.05, which prompted the treatment group in improving the SF-36 survival quality scores was better than the control group.3. Compared SAS scores intra group before and after treatment respectively, results showed differences of curative effect before and after treatment in both the treatment group and the control group had no significant (P was higher than 0.05). Statistical analysis among groups showed the P was also higher than 0.05, which declared that the curative effect of the two groups in improving anxiety had no significant difference.4. Compared SDS scores intra group before treatment, the results showed that two groups before treatment had no comparability. Conclusion:At the aspect of improving clinical symptoms of liver-stomach disharmony syndrome of CSG, there is a difference between the treatment group and the control group. What is more, at the aspect of TCM symptoms improvement, the treatment group received better curative effect than the control group; in raising the quality of survival, the two groups patients both got improvement, which is more obvious in the treatment group; But in treating emotional disorders (like anxiety), statistic scores suggested that there was no significant difference in both group.
