Objective:We analyzed the microorganisms and their resistance in pustules by aerobic culture,bacterial identification and drug susceptibility test on facial pustules contents of70cases of patients with acne vulgaris. And we also conducted antimicrobial test on the culture isolated from pustules of patients, which was intended to provide rationale for antibiotic treatment of acne, exploring the mechanism of Xianglian Jinhuang Powder in treating acne. Aimed to observe its clinical efficacy(curative effect) in the treatment of acne in comparison with clindamycin phosphate gelMethod:To conduct aerobic culture, bacterial identification and common drug susceptibility test respectively on70cases of patients with acne vulgaris. We made in vitro inhibiting bacteria experiment of Xianglian Jinhuang Powder on selected bacteria with separation and purification. We divided the patients into clindamycin phosphate gel group and Xianglian Jinhuang Powder group to evaluate their clinical efficacy. Result:Bacteria components isolated from pustules secretion of70cases of patients with acne vulgaris were as follows:49strains of staphylococcus epidermal,5strains of Staphylococcushominis,5strains of enterobacter cloacae,3strains of Staphylococcus capitis and Klebsiella pneumoniae,2strains of citric acid staphyl ococcus aureus and staphylococcus auricularis and1strain of Staphylococcus lugdunensis, Klebsiella Oxytoca and acinetobacter baumannii respectively. Two kinds of bacteria were isolated in4cases of patients, with3cases none. Of all the isolated bacteria, staphylococcus epidermal was the most common one, a percent of68.03. Drug resistance:resistance analysis on57cases variedasfollows:penicillin(85.9%), erythromycin(70.17%), clin damycin(59.64%), oxacillin(34.28%), levofloxacin(36.73%), cipr ofloxacin(32.65%), bactrim(31.7%), etracycline (24.48%), gentam icin (16.32%), rifampicin (7.3%), moxif loxacin (2.43%), furantoin (0%), linezolid(0%), quinupristin(0%)andvancomycin(0%), respec tively. Xianglian Jinhuang Powder has bactericidal action when at the concentration of1.5g/ml for partial bacteria with0.5MFC, while is effective in inhibiting bacteria with the same MFC when at0.75g/mlConclusion:Bacteria isolated from pustules of patients with acne vulgaris were mainly consist of staphylococcus epidermal which was more resistant to penicillin, erythromycin, clindamycin, oxacillin and levofloxacin. Xianglian Jinhuang Powder has bactericidal action when at the concentration of1.5g/ml for partial bacteria with0.5MFC, while is effective in inhibiting bacteria with the same MFC when at0.75g/ml. Clindamycin phosphate gel and Xianglian Jinhuang Powder are both effective in treating acne clinically.
