Clinical Observation Of Pedicle Screw Fixation Combined With Amber Pills In The Treatment Of Thoracolumbar Burst Fracture

Purpose：Observe the pedicle screw rod fixation combined with amber pillcurative effect for the treatment of thoracolumbar burst fracture.Material and method：The collection of Shenyang City Department oforthopedics hospital40cases of thoracic and lumbar spine in2012November to2013December in Department of surgery, income treatment of burst fracturepatients. All patients were randomly assigned in accordance with the group, groupB. Two groups were treated with open reduction and pedicle screw internalfixation. Group A (experimental group)20cases, the posterior open reductionand pedicle screw fixation combined with amber pill in the treatment ofpostoperative. Group B (control group)20cases, only the posterior openreduction and pedicle screw internal fixation. The two groups were observedbefore operation, postoperative radiographs of1months,3months,6months,1year follow-up of vertebral height difference comparison, two sets of ASIAgrade, JOA score.Results：1.Two groups of patients in postoperative1year of follow-up, ASIA neuralfunction classification score is better, party a and party b two groups of ASIAclassification score (P>0.05）. That party a and party b in the two groupsin no difference between the degree of recovery of neural function.2. Party a and party b in the two groups after1month,3months,6months,1year period JOA score were no obvious difference (P>0.05)3.Preoperative and postoperative1month party a and party b two groups ofvertebral body height are made significant effect (P <0.01), but between thetwo groups and there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). After six months of follow-up, two groups of spine height still no statisticallysignificant difference, but group b vertebral body height is the height of thepostoperative1month is quite was statistically significant, two groups ofpostoperative1year height of vertebral body more significant differences P<0.05Conclusion：1.Posterior open reduction and pedicle screw rod internal fixation forthoracolumbar burst fracture with the exact effect.2.Pedicle screw rod internal fixation combined with amber pill in the treatmentof thoracolumbar burst fracture, which can effectively prevent the loss of theheight of the vertebral body, promoting fracture healing and to maintain thestability of the spine.
