object:Changes in brain fMRI as a means hypertensive rats with vascular dementia as the research object, using electro-acupuncture, applicator interventions to low-frequency amplitude as the starting point to study the function of rats with vascular dementia, EA and applicator treatment mechanisms and their effectiveness, clinical treatment of vascular dementia rats with vascular dementia may provide a more adequate scientific basis.Method:With EA, combination therapy intervention hypertensive rats with vascular dementia, through behavioral testing and blood pressure measurement, observe the efficacy of acupuncture and combination therapies, using ALFF algorithm resting state fMRI image data VD rats were analyzed using control before and after treatment, the treatment group and the untreated group combines photographic research methods observation, excavation EA and functional changes caused by complex stimuli characteristic of rat whole brain VD, VD further reveal its impact on brain function.Results:1EA group rats after treatment with blood pressure levels composite treatment group decreased compared with model group was statistically significant (P<0.05), the composite treatment group and EA group, there is a downward trend in blood pressure, but no statistics significance (P>0.05).2escape latency of rats treated with the model number and the cross platform comparison was statistically significant (P<0.05), while the electro-acupuncture group compared with the composite group, no significant difference (P>0.05).3compared with the model group, electro-acupuncture treatment in rats hippocampal CA1, CA2, CA3region of the motor cortex, cingulate gyrus, prefrontal cortex, anterior thalamic nucleus ventral enhanced locomotor activity;. Amygdala, temporal gyrus, fusiform gyrus, posterior parietal spontaneous activity weakened. 4compared with the EA group, electroacupuncture combined hippocampal CA1rat model after treatment applicator, CA3region, cingulate gyrus, prefrontal cortex, precuneus, caudate nucleus, anterior thalamic nucleus spontaneous activity increased ventral; almonds nuclear, motor cortex, middle temporal gyrus, fusiform gyrus, posterior parietal spontaneous activity weakened.Conclusion:1Electroacupuncture treatment of vascular dementia and cognitive function in patients with hypertension have improved blood pressure effect, but the sample size is small, further research is needed.2composite treatment of the disease and cognitive function has significant improvement in blood pressure, and compared to pure electric acupuncture, there are better role trend, but no statistical significance, the analysis method by ALFF compare complex treatment after the group treated with electroacupuncture treatment of spontaneous activity in some brain areas have changed, it may be cumulative treatment applicator is not enough, resulting in no significant treatment effect, pending further study.3Abnormal multiple brain regions of rats with vascular dementia treatment exists, mainly in the hippocampus, cingulate gyrus, prefrontal cortex, posterior parietal cortex and other areas, and those areas, but previous studies related to learning and memory, further confirmed these role in this disease area.4The mechanism of acupuncture treatment of hypertension may be related with these brain regions may also be just a few regions, to be its separate study.
