| Purpose:To observe the clinical effectiveness of Chinese medicine(decoction--Tang Wang 1) combined with laser photocoagulation on diabetic tetinopathy.methods:38 cases diagnosed with diabetic retionpathy were enrolled in our study,including out-pationents and hospitalized patients in the Opthalmology Department of the Affiliated Hospital to Liaoning University of Chinese Medicine from March 2013 to December 2014. All the patients were randomly assigned to treatment group and control group respectively.In treatment group,19 cases(33 eyes) were applied with laser coagulation combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).In the control group,19 cases(30eyes) were admitted only laser treatment. Before and after three months of treating,the visionã€eyeground photography and eyeground fluorescence radiography of the 36 examples were checked and recorded the scope of retina hemorrhage and exudationã€the quantity of microangioma and appraised the curative effect finally.Results:(1)Three month after therapy,the vision rise or stabilization of in the treated group have statistical significance with the contrasted group;(2)Three month later,the efficiency of macular edema was 93.10% in the treatment group and 72.00%in the control group.Two groups was statistically significant;(3)The efficiency of retina hemorrhage and exudation and microangioma was 87.88% comparing 63.33% in control group three month post-treatment,Two groups was statistically significant;(4)The Total effectiveness of the treatment group was 93.94%,(4)The Total effectiveness of the control group was 66.67%,Two groups was statistically significant.Conclusion:Laser photocoagulation uniting with TCM which has the effect of Yiqiyangyin and Qingrerunzao has more superior curative effect than the laser photocoagulation only on treating the diabetic retionpathy. |
