Clinical Study On Treatment Of Damp - Heat Eczema With

Purpose:During the past 1 year, in the Dermatology Department of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, patients with Damp-heat Type eczema have been followed and studied in order to know the effect of No.1 Prescription for eczema.Material and method:Ambulatory treatment records from December 2013 to September 2014 in Dermatology Department of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital were chosen. Patients who are in line with both western and Chinese medical diagnosis standard and the inclusion criteria, and who are also proved to be Damp-heat Type patients, are randomly divided into, according to the Random Table Method, Traditional Chinese Medicine Group(take No.1 Prescription for eczema) and Patent Medicine Group(take cortex phellodendri capsule). Both groups take the eczema lotion(made and prescribed by the tutor).The course of treatment is 30 + /- 2 days. With the help of statistical methods, the curative effects, which include the degree of lesion morphology, itching, skin area, clinical symptoms, total integral, related laboratory indexes and so forth are analyzed.Results: 1. Comparison of the two groups’ clinical curative effects: the rank sum test shows P <0.05. The total effective rate of No.1 Prescription for eczema is 93.33%, while the total effective rate of cortex phellodendri capsule was 63.33%,.Therefore, the curative effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Group is better than that of Patent Medicine Group.2. Integral Comparison in lesion area after treatment: the rank sum test shows P < 0.05,which shows No.1 Prescription for eczema can significantly reduce the pathogenetic area of eczema. 3. Integral Comparison in skin injury configuration after treatment: the rank sum test shows P< 0.05,which shows No.1 Prescription for eczema can significantly reduce the number and kinds of skin injuries. 4. Integral Comparison in itching degree after treatment: the rank sum test shows P < 0.05,which shows only No.1 Prescription for eczema can significantly relieve patients’ symptons. 5. Comparison before and after the treatment in the two groups of total EOS(eosinophile) and total Ig E:the rank sum test shows P> 0.05, which shows there’s no obvious difference before and after the treatment. According to the statistics, total EOS(eosinophile) has improved by 51.85% and 11.11% respectively in Traditional Chinese Medicine Group(take No.1 Prescription for eczema) and Patent Medicine Group(take cortex phellodendri capsule). Meanwhile,the total Ig E has improved by 38.71% and 22.58% respectively.Conclusion: 1. No.1 Prescription for eczema is better than other medicine used in Patent Medicine Group. 2.No.1 Prescription for eczema combined with eczema lotion can significantly improve the curative effect of eczema. 3.The EOS count and serum total Ig E may have relation with and the pathogenesis and relief of eczema. Chinese medicine treatment can change the abnormal index of EOS count and Ig E.
