More and more insect pheromones and food lure traps researches are reported in the latest dacade because it serves as one of the pest monitoring and biological control measures have the virtues with accuracy, predicted in advance the occurrence of pests and little pollution, not easy to produce resistance and so on. In this thesis, "Y" tube olfactometer in the presence of food compounds 1-octene-3-ol, linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, palmic acid and petrosilane are bioassayed as single component, the results show that the 1-octene-3-ol conduct poor effect, and that 80ng/μl linoleic acid is better, 80ng/μl oleic acid to attractant Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) best, 160ng/μl stearic acid to attractant Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Linnaeus)has better results, 120ng/μl petrosilane to attractant Sitophilus oryzae (Linnaeus)and Tribolium castaneum, 120ng/μl palmic acid on Sitophilus oryzae and Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Linnaeus)are better. Simulated storehouse trials to the six major wheat volatile compounds such as linoleic acid, palmic acid, petrosilane, valeraldehyde, larixinic acid, vanillin show that the most effective doses are not identical. According to those optimal doses a scheme cantains 7 combination formulas is designed. After trials the best formulas are A4: 146.26μl linoleic acid + 37.6μl palmic acid + 115.2μl petrosilane +31.72μl valeraldehyde and A7: 146.26μl linoleic acid + 37.6μl palmic acid + 115.2μl petrosilane +31.72μl valeraldehyde + 16.8μl larixinic acid +16.8μl vanillin. The B scheme was set up by contrasting the different components in A4 and A7. The results show that B2: 31.72μl valeraldehyde + 16.8μl larixinic acid is available. Blend these compounds in accordance with appropriate proportion, we can get the lures which can attractant various storage pest. On controlled-releasing technology application, we use silicone plugs and micro porous starch to absorb and embed the lures correspondingly, then assayed them in the laboratory and the public storehouse, the results show that the micro porous starch with several attractant have significant sustained release effect to more then two months in trapping time and it can increase the total numbers to entrap the various stored product insect pests. In public store the food lure can attrctant Sitophilus zeamais (Motschulsky), Sitophilus oryzae (Linnaeus), Rhyzopertha dominica (Fbricius), Oryzaephilus surinamensis (Linnaeus), Tribolium castaneum (Herbst), Cryptolestes ferrugineue (Stephens), book lice and so on.In this thesis, the study provide a reference for further searching to highly effective food lure to storage pest and extend attractants releasing time, and it also provide a useful scientific important information for developing new comprehensive methods to manage stored product insects.
