The Zenia insignis Chun is unique precious Chinese plant, growing quickly, lopping in short-term and could be used to renew vegetation, protect environment and greening hill, so it was choice for forest on a large scale. The Zenia insignis Chun introduction, domestication and woods had been introduced, but the photosynthesis hadn't been researched, so by researching on different sources of Zenia insignis Chun could be enrich woods variety, improve environment, boost woods construction, mitigate the woods utility, keep sustainable development for forestry economy.In this study, we examined all kinds of physiological ecology parameters of six different Zenia insignis Chun during the whole growing season with international advanced portable photosynthetic measuring system. We also measured the effect of elevated CO2 and light concentration on their photosynthesis. Results showed that:(1) The light and Ci concentration were important conditions on the photosynthesis transformation of Zenia insignis Chun(2) The diurnal variation wave of Pn of Zenia insignis Chun were different in different months.(3) The reasons of Pn descend of Xingyi Guizhou in May were Cond and light restriction, and other's had no relation of Cond restriction during the whole growing season.(4) The photosynthetic ability and transpiration of Jianghua Hunan was the largest in the six different sources of Zenia insignis Chun and Xinyi Guizhou has the largest transpiration efficiency.(5) The shade durableness ability from high to low were Yingde Guangdong, Jianghua Hunan, Shaoguan Guangdong, Guilin Guangxi, Tongdao Hunan, Xingyi Guizhou, and Xingyi Guizhou was remarkable lower than others. The light durableness ability from high to low were Xingyi Guizhou, Jianghua Hunan, Guilin Guangxi, Tongdao Hunan, Shaoguan Guangdong, Yingde Guangdong.(6) The Tongdao Hunan has the largest efficiency in low CO2 concentration and CE, the Jianghua Hunan has the largest CSP and the Shaoguan Guangdong has the lower CSP and CE efficiency than others.
