In order to explore it to the introduction environment factor compatibility LI-6400 portable photosynthesis system was used to study the photosynthesis of Camellia clone:Camellia polyodontaHow ex.Hu,Camellia yuhsienensis Hu,and Camellia oleife'xianglin 1',Camellia oleife xianglin 4,Camellia oleife xianglin XLC15, has conducted the system research, net photosynthetic rate(Pn), stomatal conductance(Cond), intercellar CO2 concentration(Ci), water pressure deficit(Vpd), tanrspiration rate(Tr), temperature(T), relative humidity of atmosphere(RH)and luminous strength(PAR) were measured.Furthemrore, response of Pn to light and chlorophyll content of Camellia species were measured. An analysis of net photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, intercellular CO2 concentration, transpiration rate, water use efficiency, relative humidity of atmosphere, air temperature,photosynthetic active radiation of the diurnal variations and the net photosynthetic rate of annual variations, in net photosynthetic rate of ecological factors and physiological relationship between. The main findings are as follows:1. Under net natural state,in different months of a year the diurnal variation in the photosynthetic rate of Camellia observation species were divided into two kind of types. In April,May, July, June, August species on four kinds of diurnal variation in the photosynthetic rate was double-peak curve;the diurnal variation in the rest were single-peak curve。2. The four kinds of Camellia species in the annual variations of net photosynthetic rate were double-peak curve,except the Camellia oleife'xianglin 1', the peak appear in the July and October. In July the net photosynthetic rate in the order from hight to low are as follows:Camellia oleife xianglin 4 11.96μmolm-2s-1> Camellia oleife xianglin XLC15 11.60μmolm-2s-1>Camellia polyodontaHow ex.Hu 10.18μmolm-2s-1>Camellia oleife xianglin 1 8.60μmolm-2s-1>Camellia yuhsienensis Hu6.42μmolm-2s-1。The five species of net photosynthetic rate in descending order of annual average were:Camellia oleife xianglin 4 7.63μmolm-2s-1Camellia oleife xianglin 1 7.53μmolm-2s-1>Camellia polyodontaHow ex.Hu 6.78μmolm-2s-1> Camellia oleife xianglin XLC15 6.65μmolm-2s-1> Camellia yuhsienensis Hu 4.31μmolm-2s-1。Total amount of photosynthetic characteristic is Camellia oleife xianglin XLC15 475.94μmolm-2s-1> Camellia oleife xianglin 1 441.93μmolm-2s-1> Camellia polyodontaHow ex.Hu 432.26μmolm-2s-1> Camellia oleife xianglin 4 403.49μmolm-2s-1> Camellia yuhsienensis Hu 271.69μmolm-2s-1。3. The light saturation points of the Camellia. were1227μmolm-2s-1 1586μmolm-2s-1,the light compensation points was bewteen 16.65μmolm-2s-1 and 34.96μmolm-2s-1μmolm-2s-1, the apparent quantum efficiency were 0.0307 0.0455.Data therefore showed that the leaves of Camellia.had the higher utilization efficiency on weak light and strong light. Camellia were sun plants.4. Among the physiological factors, stomatal conductance (Cond),transpiration rate(Tr), and intercellular CO2 concentration(Ci) were the major factors that influenced the variations of net photosynthetic rate(Pn),and luminous strength(PAR) was one key ecological factors that influenced the variations of Pn.
