In recent years, Chinese jujube industry is flourishing in Xinjiang, plantation area increased greatly, it has become a new highlight of local economic. Experts believe that the south xinjiang will be the world's production base of Chinese jujube in the future, because it has special geographical and climatic conditions. Although the Chinese jujube in Xinjiang has its unique advantages of climate and environment, also facing the serious phenomenon of irrational variety structure, lack of germplasm, degradation and hybrid of varieties. In view of this, consider the characteristics of Tarim Basin, Chinese jujube Repository, Wensu, Xinjiang was established, collected 98 cultivars of different purposes and different mature from parts of the country. On this basis, study on the morphological characteristics, biological characteristics, growth and fruiting habit, quality traits, product features and disease resistance, stress tolerance, by using grey relational analysis, optimized the fine excellent cultivars for the development and cultivation of the Xinjiang region, provide reference for the industrial layout, product structure adjustment and industrial up grading of Xinjiang, provide germplasm resources guarantee for Chinese jujube upgrading of Xinjiang and long-term health development of industrial , provide the scientific basis for the comprehensive evaluation of germplasm resources and breeding new cultivars. The results were as follows:1 The distribution range and variation coefficient of 23 characters of Chinese jujube cultivars were studied. Percentage of cracking fruit, yield per tree and cold damaged index showed largest variation coefficient of 244.15, 102.10 and 90.79 respectively while ratio of edibility of fruit, ratio of edibility of dry fruit and fruit water content showed smallest variation coefficient of 1.75, 1.81 and 7.05.2 The distribution type of 23 characters of Chinese jujube is obtained. There are 18 characters accord with normal distribution, they are tree height, fruit weight of fresh jujube, diameter of stem, length of secondary shoot, fruit vertical length, fruit cross diameter, fruit shape index, saluble solid matter content, vitamin C content, soluble sugar content, stone weight of fresh jujube, fruit uniformity, fruit water content, ratio of edibility of fresh jujube, ratio of dried fruit, fruit weight of dried jujube, stone weight of dried jujube and ratio of edibility of dried jujube. Only 4 characters are not accord with normal distribution, they are titratable acidity content,percentage of fruit cracking,cold damaged percentage and colddamaged index. Yield per tree does not meet the normal distribution at the 0.05 level.3 With the actual production of local and experts, farmers views, compared with the equalrelational grade analysis and the weighted relational grade analysis selection result showedthat the latter was more reliable in evaluation the cultivars under climatic and soilconditions on gravel gobi of south Xinjiang.4 Ten kinds of cultivars for dried fruit through grey relational analysis were selected basedon yield per tree, fruit weight of fresh jujube, ratio of edibility of fresh jujube, vitamin Ccontent,titratable acidity content, soluble sugar content, fruit uniformity, percentage of fruitcracking, cold damaged index, texture of flesh, coarseness of flesh, juice of flesh and fruitflavor. They were daguazao, fengmiguan, yueguang, dabailing, laishuilingzao, zhanling,lajiaozao, jingzao39, dalilinglingzao and shandonglizao.5 Ten kinds of cultivars for dried jujube through grey relational analysis were selectedbased on yield per tree , fruit weight of fresh jujube, dried ratio of fruit, ratio of edibility ofdried jujube, titratable acidity content, soluble sugar content, fruit uniformity, percentageof fruit cracking and cold damaged index. They were junzao, xuanchengjianzao,jishanbanzao, zizhu, zanyu, jinsi4hao, wuhefeng, jinsixin4hao, zhongyangmuzao andjinsi3hao.6 Selecting out 6 high Vc content cultivars and 8 high soluble sugar content cultivars.
