Research On Adaptability Comprehensive Evaluation And Cultivation Techniques Of Different Sorghum Varieties In Ningxia Irrigation Area

Two experiments were arranged to select and enrich the forage resources(Sorghum)and find out the best cultivation technique for the "Monster" sweet sorghum in Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation Region.The experiment was laid out with 40 varieties planted in Ningxia in 2016.By observing the growth period and measuring the main agronomic characters,10 sorghum varieties were screened,which was based on the fresh yield.The 10 varieties were evaluated in the previous year were further evaluated by the randomized block design with three replications.At the same time,an experiment was arranged in a completely randomized split-plot design with three replications,where the irrigation times were the main plots with four levels(W0,W1,W2,W3,1050 m3 hm-2 each time,W0reffers to no irrigation)and the fertilizer levels were the sub-plots with four levels as well(N0 reffers to no fertilizer;N1:urea:300 kg·hm-2+ diammonium phosphate:100 kg·hm-2;N2 urea:450 kg·hm-2+ diammonium phosphate:100 kg·hm-2;N3 urea:600 kg·hm-2+ diammonium phosphate:100 kg hm-2).To explore the optimal cultivation management measures of "Monster".The main component analysis method was used to evaluate the nutritional value.Finally,the grey relational theory-entropy weight evaluation method was used to evaluate the varieties with the best adaptability and highest yield,and the optimal cultivation and management measures of "Monster" in Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation Area.The main results as follow:(1)Ten varieties has the higher fresh yield in 2016 at Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation Area which is,Lvjuren,Sudanese 3901,Monster,Dajiang2120,Dajiang2180,Siweite,Dajiang3180,Jinguan,Dalishi,Dajiang1230.(2)The Dalishi,Dajiang2180,Monster,and Lvjuren are the stronger resistance to lodging,while the W1N3?W2N2?W3N2 and W1N2 are the stronger resistance to lodging under different irrigation times and fertilizer levels.(3)Through the comprehensive analysis of the main agronomic traits and nutritional indicators,the best cultivar in Ningxia was Dajiang 2180,followed by Dajiang 2120.That is,the above two varieties are recommended to be planted in Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation Area.(4)The results of comprehensive evaluation of the effects of different irrigation times and fertilizer levels on sweet sorghum of "Monster" show that the recommended cultivation and management measures in this area:the sowing rate is 30 kg·hm-2,and during the entire growth period the irrigation amount is 2100 m3·hm-2,application of urea:300 kg·hm-2+ diammonium phosphate:100 kg·hm-2.
