In recent years, peach in China developed rapidly, and have a great economic value for improving income. Peach production is mainly distributed in upland and beach, which with low organic matte, low fertilizer use efficiency. All of these have negative effect on the yield and quality. So focusing on orchard management was necessary based on the requirement of high quality and fruit. With the development of the social and economic, all kinds of increases every year, It should be emphasized that the large amount of organic waste has already exerted remarkable impacts on the environment, How to use organic waste will be an increasingly serious issue. Based on solving this problem, in peach orchard this experiment use broader sources of sawdust, sawdust particles, peat particles, decomposition of bark, half-decomposed bark and bark is not decomposed as the cover material .Research different mulching about soil properties and peach trees growth results. The results showed that:1.The treatment of cover significantly reduced the soil temperature in the 0-25cm .in spring was lower 0.08℃~ 2.1℃, in summer was lower 0.94℃~ 2.94℃vs. controls, the soil temperature in the order of: control> peat particles> 3cm bark> sawdust particles> are not decomposed bark> 9cm bark> 6cm composting bark> sawdust> semi-maturity bark;2. Soil covered mulching increased water storage in the 0-100 soil; the amount of increasing is 5.3 mm ~ 61.3 mm. The soil water storage in the order of: sawdust> 6 cm composting bark> 3 cm bark> semi-decomposed bark> sawdust particles> 9 cm bark> particles = not decomposed peat bark> control3. The treatments of different covering material increased organic matter content of 0-20 cm soil, the growth of peach trunk diameter and leaf area. The change range of trunk diameter was from 1.0cm to 2.8cm, among the treatments semi- decomposed bark resulted in the greatest trunk diameter. The mean increment of leaf area increased form 7.6% to 19.6% .the increment of bark was highest.4.In the treatment of covering, the number of peach roots was higher than control levels. The total number of roots with covered was 4.57 times of controls. Root of the number of mesh which is far more than the control treatment, the number of peach root mesh is 8.7 times the control. Both cover the treatment, or control, the root diameter of 6cm diameter and root volume than other quantity. Division 2-4cm from the ground, covering 72 handling, and control treatment had no roots there.5. The treatment of covering increased soluble solids by 6%, yield by 10% vs. controls. The firmness was slightly higher than the control, respectively, 6.61 Kg/cm~2, 6.54 Kg/cm~2. 6. Above all the main conservation mulching system for the orchards 6cm semi- decomposed bark showed optimal performance, and particle materials were better than powder materials.
