In this experimentation,Crude polysaccharide are seperated by extraction with120min, 50℃and the 1:3 ratio of material to liquid, and the use of ethanol precipitation, Sevag method camellia received for crude polysaccharide from protein, Then polysaccharide are pured with DEAE-cellulose column, SephadexG-100 column chromatography for further purification of polysaccharides camellia. The results showed that the Camellia oleifera pol- ysaccharides was composed of three types of polysaccharides (CPSⅠ,CPSⅡ,CPSⅢ).What's more by ultravioletvisible spectrum between 190nm and 210nm,there was a absorbance of polysaccharides'features between 190nm and 210nm , not 260nm point and 280nm point ,which was two absorbability peaks of nucleic acids'and proteins'features respectively.Through standard samples by column chromatography we also can infer that CPSⅠ's molecular weight is about 256035, CPSⅡ's is about 10290.3, CPSⅢ's is about 3590.00.And through the thin-layer chromatography,we can initially infer that CPSⅠis comp- osed of galactose and xylose, CPSⅡis composed of fructose and xylose, as well as another unidentified polysa-ccharide composition,and CPSⅢis composed by galactose.Through infrared spectral analysis,CPSⅠspeculate may contain phosphoric acid group of polysaccharide;CPSⅡand CPSⅢcontain pure Alcohol Based corporations,and CPSⅡcontents more unitary alcohol,binary alcohol than the CPSⅢ.CPSⅡcontain a polysacch- arideαglucoside bond and CPSⅢcontainα,βglucoside bond.Giving the camellia seed polysaccharide Intra-peritoneal injection to the hyper-lipidmeic mice in different groups. after measured in TC, The results indicated that CPSⅠhave a better effect in hypoglycemic.after that, Giving the CPSⅠIntra-peritoneal injection of the same concentration to the hyper-lipidmeic mice in groups, this experiment, after the measurement of their T-CHO,HDL-C,LDL-C, HMG-CoA reductase activity and the content of Coprosterol, and the comparative analysis of exclusive polysaccharide group with thoset of the blank group,positive control group,high fat group, explores the blood fat- lowering mechanism of CPS.High-dose group, middle dose group T-CHO,LDL-C com- pared with the high-fat group reduced significantly, but not to increase the role of HDL-C; and high-dose group compared with the fecal steroid content in the blank group signi- ficantly. The result of the experiment shows that the intrinsic lipid-lowering mechanism of CPSⅠis inhibit the absorption of exogenous cholesterol, and make cholesterol directly to outside, in order to reduce blood lipids.
