| In this study, we bring 8 different genetic relationship sweet sorghum, with the incomplete diallel cross method for orthogonal and reciprocal cross, and gain 32 sweet sorghum hybrids and make a genetic analysis for their stem sugar content and other agronomic character. The results are as follows:1.By studying Sweet sorghum hybrids combination of 4 major agronomic characters and groups of group average heterosis advantage of genetic analysis,Brix, biological yield per plant, grain weight and plant height showed strong positive average advantage, Biological yield per plant on positive average advantage is the highest, The positive average advantage of Brix is minimum. In 4 major agronomic characters, only the grain weight showed significant group heterobeltiosis, three other characters showed different positive heterobeltiosis and negative heterobeltiosis.2.By analysising GCA of 8 parents, GCA on Brix, biological yield per plant, press juice rate, plant height, panicle length and stem thick of parent 2381 is bigger. In different male parent of Hybrid sweet sorghum, GCA in various characters of RIO is better, we can get high Brix and better yield hybrid; In different female parent of Hybrid sweet sorghum, GCA in various characters of LR625 is better, we can get high Brix and better yield hybrid, but press juice rate may be unsatisfactory.3.By studying broad-sense heritability(h2B) on various characters of sweet sorghum, we find h2B is medium on biological yield per plant, grain weight, stem thick and growth period, it indicates that these characters are affected by environmental factors, and Brix, stem weight per plant, press juice rate etc character's h2B are higher, it indicates that characters depends on genotype effect. According to the analysis of narrow sense heritability(h2N), The narrow sense heritability of characters in sequence are: stem weight per plant> plant height> spike length> growth period> Brix> biological yield per plant> stem thick> press juice rate> Grain weight.4.By analysising genetic correlation on agronomic characters of sweet sorghum, we find that Brix has a significant positive correlation with the main stem weight only, and the correlation with other agronomic characters is not significant, it show that growth period and plant height etc character has little effect on Brix; biological yield per plant has a significant positive correlation with those agronomic characters except sugar content and press juice rate. Press juice rate has significant correlation with stem weight only, has no significant correlation with Brix and biological yield etc character. |
