Study On Silkworm Excrement Compost And Biological Effects Of Its Composted Products

In this paper, the silkworm excrement organic fertilizer (SEOF) which was developed by high temperature composting with the main material of discarded silkworm excrement after extraction of chlorophyll and inoculated with microbe fungus was re-used. The physical and chemical properties; changes during composting and the application mechanism and effect of the composted products were further studied which was taken as the basis of popularization application of SEOF.The detail results were showed as follow:(1)Composting experiment showed that those treatments with inoculation had been proved effective in shorten composting time, reduction of the moisture, improvement of the composting maturity, and reduction of the losses of C and N compared with the treatment without inoculation. The pH and EC of silkworm excrement after composting was 8.6 and 3.1ms-cm-1The higher pH could play a vital role in improving soil acidification. The contents of total N, P2O5 and K2O of silkworm excrement after composting were 3.05%,1.77% and 3.32%, which had increased by 58.0%,84.4% and 29.7% than before. The content of organic matter was 67.5% after composting which was 10.4% lowed than before. The contents of these nutrients, and safety indexes in SEOF all conformed to the standard for the commercial biologically organic fertilizers in our country. The cabbage and tomato seeds GI from silkworm excrement after composting were higher than 80% showed that silkworm excrement after composting had been maturity.(2)Germination test showed that SEOF not only improved germination rate of the cabbage's and tomato's seeds, but also accelerated seedlings root growth and increased plant height. The SEOF with Yalian microbe fungus was the best to the root growth of cabbage seedlings. But the SEOF with Lianye microbe fungus was the best to the growth of tomato seedlings.(3)Pot experiment showed that the application of SEOF could not only increase Vc and chlorophyll contents of small cabbage, increase the nutrient contents of the cabbage, reduce the accumulation of nitrate in the cabbage; but also increase emergence rate of cabbage by 13.8%-20.6%, increase production per pot by 23.6%-44.3% than control. The contents of As,Cr,Cd,HG,Pb in cabbage could accord with the standard of no-polluted vegetable. Meanwhile, the application of SEOF could also enhance the soil pH value, increase soil available nutrients and organic matter, improve soil enzyme activity, compared with the treatments with nothing fertilizer and sheep excrement. The treatment inoculated with Yalian microbe fungus was more effective in improving urease and catalase activity than others.(4)In the field experiment, the results showed that by using SEOF the fruit maturation period was 2-3 days ahead, color of fruit skin and bunch density had increased, damaged and rotten fruit had reduced, storage and transportation of resistance had enhanced; chlorophyll content, weight of bunch and beirry, total number of particles had increased; The quality of furit improved:the sugar acid ratio of fujiminori and kyoho raised by 4.4%,15.3% than control; Vc content increased by 37.8%,11.2% than control; The economic benifit raised up to 1955.75 yuan/667m2.
