Monorail Car's Wireless Positioning And Measuring Control System Based On ARM9 And GPRS

In our country, fruit trees planting occupies a crucial position in the mountainous economic development, while fruit picking and fruit transporting must be taken into account as top problem in fruit trees planting.Picking up fruits technology is a weakness as well as equipment, and has a low efficiency. This paper introduces an architecture base on ARM and GPRS, which using in monorail car's wireless positioning and measuring control system. In the article, including analyzing of monorail car's practical value, researching for ARM9 processor and kinds of positioning methods as well as wireless data transporting theory and so on, are all supplying theoretical support for the system. To grasp velocity information and position of monorail car in time, rotary encoder method is used, and the data is transmitted and controlled by GPRS module. The system is composed of on-vehicle control device, remote controller and wireless transmission module based on ARM9 microprocessor S3C2410, it can detect positioning information and control the system by GPRS between handheld controller and on-vehicle control device. It elaborates working principle, hardware design and software implementation of core processor, rotary decoder and GPRS communication module which compose the hardware platform.After debugging the system, making experiment in laboratory, testing outside, the system can finish measuring speed and position, send data to hand-held remote controller and control the monorail car's speed by hand-held remote controller.This research has a few innovations as below:1. Since picking up fruits technology is a weakness as well as equipment, and has a low efficiency, it is a new trial in our country to develop a system used in fruit picking with remote monorail system which has never been discovered.2. An architecture combined ARM9 with GPRS in monorail car's wireless positioning and measuring control system is a innovation.3. Rotary decoder method for positioning and measurement is used in monorail car's wireless positioning and measuring control system, accomplishing accurate positioning of the monorail car.
