Empirical Analysis On The Influential Factors Of Disease Prevention And Treatment For Citrus HLB In Fujian Province

The control of Citrus HuangLongBing(HLB) is increasingly prominent, on which experts pay much more attentions, as Citrus HLB is being devastating disease that leads to production reduction and quality decline about citrus in Fujian province. Especially in some major producing areas, the disease is severely endangering fruits. According to the statistics from Agriculture Department related, the loose suffered in worse quality and production of citrus, which is caused by the disease, exceeds 50 million RMB yearly from 2005 to 2008. In the prevention of citrus HLB,farmers,enterprise and government related behavior subject to the behavior of the existence of certain disease prevention and control relates the influence.This paper is focused on influences of the control of Citrus HLB, which makes peasants confused in the process of prevention, in the hope of agriculture increasing yields, peasant increased revenues and the agricultural and rural development in Fujian province.The paper is divided into seven parts. The first part is preface. It introduces the background and significance of the research, and the methods adopted in the process. The characteristics and research status at home and abroad has also been stated in this part. The second part expatriates on the comprehensive situation of HLB in Fujian province.The third part explained the theoretical basis of citrus HLB control;The forth part classifies the factors that have effect on the control of HLB, basing on the research status at home and abroad, to identify the influence on the control. The fifth part illustrates the factors influenced by showing the real example. The sixth part analyzes the main influencing factor to control HLB, basing on contingency table, logistic model and questionnaire survey. Therefore, some proposal is made in the seventh part for the results of the analysis. The last part summarizes this research in the Citrus HLB, which is composed of discussion on the finding resulted from the paper, comparison with related research and the insufficiencies of the paper. The finding in this paper indicates that the control of Citrus HLB is concerned with tweleve variables by contingency table , for instance, family arrangement, age of the head of household, years and quantity of citrus planting,the number of orange park,orange park home distance,can be disease-resistant varieties,join citrus cooperation organization, merchant purchase, prevention consulting services,prevention base and economic loss of citrus caused by HLB. Four of these tweleve variables expatriated themselves as the main influencing factors in prevention, like the number of orange park, join citrus cooperation organization, merchant purchase and prevention consulting services through the logistic model. According to above to fujian citrus HLB prevention and treatment effect factors of the empirical analysis results, this paper finally put forward to promote sales service system construction; Promote citrus cooperation organization established; The increased HLB prevention and treatment of training and consulting dynamics;promotion of citrus specialization and large-scale production opinions.Suggestions for citrus farmers and government in HLB to offer reference and disease prevention and treatment.
