Landscape greening work is an important component of the current environmental construction in urban and rural areas, With the development of the national economy and the improvement of living standards the demands on landscape greening construction are increasing to a high level, Landscape greening not only meets the role of the leisure tour and beautify the environment, but also meets the role on the protecting the ecological environment and promoting regional sustainable development. To achieve the functions of landscape greening, first of all we must have rich landscape plant materials, then be scientific and rational chosen and applied to create the beautiful landscape garden greening.Over the past 30 years, Fujian landscape green undertakings are flourishing developed, how to better adapt to the development of a new era and construct the greening landscape with local characteristics has become an issue which the garden workers concern of.This article is based on the present state of Fujian province, and applies theories and methods in many subjects, such as physical geography, plant ecology, climate, landscape trees, landscape design, plant landscape, and so on. Through investigating and analyzing the landscape tree species in the Fujian province, I had a division of landscape tree species planning and applied research in the whole province. Full - text content is divided into two parts, the first part is division of local landscape tree species, and the second part is applied research of local landscape tree species.The first part starts from explaining the background and significance of the study, analyzing the development of domestic and foreign research on dynamic, and then proposes researching contents and methods. The next, collects natural conditions of the landscape information of Fujian province, including the climate, terrain relief, soil and biological information, leads factor of the division of landscape tree species - climate conditions as the key point, proposes the principles of the division for landscape greening construction purposes. By analyzing Fujian's natural conditions, and other industries division result, it decides that it uses the Index map overlay method as the division method to divide landscape tree species in Fujian province into four green zones. And also discusses distribution range of each district and characteristics of natural resources in detail.The second part is to analyze tree species diversity through the survey of the application of landscape tree species across the province. Proceed from the greening developed,accroading to the results of the division, select suitable greening tree species for each green area and make tree species selection for direction of development. Analysis the current situation of landscaping around to explain the characteristics of various plants applied in the Green zones, put forward the idea of constructing characteristic landscape.From the above, based on the divisions of Fujian landscape greening trees, the paper summed up the experience of the application of landscape plants, divided application areas of various landscape plants in detail and put forward methods of plant landscaping in all areas in order to overcome blindness of plant species selection in the province and improve the level of landscape construction with the full development of plant resources. The purpose is to provide a scientific basis for local characteristics and sustainable development of landscape.
