| As a base for high quality cotton in China, the development and the promotion of machine-packed cotton in Xinjiang will be the inevitable trend of the future. On the basis of index of machine picked cotton and hand picked machine, this paper studies comparatively the general knowledge of machine picked cotton and the deep research on various index of performance. In this paper, the index of HVI testing from Shihezi and AkeSu cotton-producing area are adopted, and these softwares such as MATLAB, SPSS and Excel2007are used to make analysis. For the method of analysis, comparison analysis of mean difference and variance in Excel are used for respectively comparison analysis of raw quality data, which are selected from sampled data of hand picked cotton and machine picked cotton in the two regions, meanwhile, different analysis methods are adopted for the same index in order to achieve the purpose of test; Then, regressive analysis method in the software SPSS is applied to draw relevant regression equations; Finally, a calculation interface is designed in MATLAB, and the regression equation is inspected in calculation systems by data from other areas.The results of the study show that, although technology of picking cotton by machine in Xinjiang has been greatly improved in recent years, but only individual indexes of machine picked cotton are superior to hand picked cotton from the analysis results of data, this means, overall, the quality of hand picked cotton is superior to that of machine picked cotton. This will provide a theory basis for the improvement of machine cotton-picking technical. In addition, learning from establishment of regression equation and the test of data, multivariate regression equation in this thesis can be applied to practical production process. Such studies help further understanding of the deficiency of machine cotton-picking in Xinjiang, in order to promote the development of the machine cotton-picking technology. Meanwhile, the theoretical reference of later processes to raw cotton can be supplied through comparative analysis of the quality indexes between machine picked cotton and hand picked cotton. |
