The safety problem of transgenic rice increasingly get be attended along with fast development of rice fastness genic research.The gene flow is a main concern about potential ecological impacts of releasing genetically engineered crops into the environment. The alien gene gene flow to the ordinary rice or wild rice by the releasing and diffusion of transgenic pollen. So calculating precisely diffused concentration and most diffused distance of rice pollen is the important work of environmental and protecting and forecasting safety and environment risk of the transgenic rice.The transgenic crops develop fast in the recent years,but,how to supervise the gene flow of the transgenic crops scientifically and effectively,the technical measure of safety supervision is deficient now.It is a momentous subject to unsolved.With fast development and widely used in many industries of GIS,some scholars in our country think building the geographic information system of transgenic crops is an effective way to supervise the gene flow of the transgenic crops longly,it can provide information service for supervising the gene flow of the transgenic crops safely.The combination mode of GIS and the method of evaluating the risk of gene flow of transgenic rice is researched in this paper,establish the comprehensive database including the fundamental geographic information meteorological data and rice data in recent 30 years of 15 provinces of main production of rice in southern rice region based on the spatial data administration manner of Sql Server and ArcSDE,it can dynamic associated,integrated manage and effective query the spatial data and attribute data.Designed and developed a Transgenic Rice Gene Flow Risk Evaluation System with integrated structure of C/S based on the development tools of ArcEngine and Delphi, the related algorithm of the model of pollen diffuse andgene flow.The system can forecast the distance of gene flow of the transgenic rice and evaluate environment risk of the transgenic rice by the powerful function of spatial analysis,dynamic prediction and providing decision support based on GIS,it is a spatial modernized management information system with graphic,attributes and table integration.
