The aim of this paper is to study of the population cyclobalanopsis chungii systemly ,which were rare and native subtropical Evergreen broadleaf forest to learn the health status of this regional wildwood of cyclobalanopsis chungii.Throught using statistic methodes to thoroughly study the population structure, Distributed pattern, age structure rule, spatial structure parameter in the natural reserve and also used the health assessment method to its health appraisal. Appraising the forest health scientifically and with a more comprehensive analysis on the structural characteristics in the natural forest stands, and take a appraisal to the forest health scientifically,including scientifical protection, the main content were followed:(1) Investigation analysis of spatial distribution patterns of the top 10 number of tree species of cyclobalanopsis chungii in the natural reserve, using the meathods of the clustered index, the average congestion and negative binomial distribution including cyclobalanopsis chungii, cyclobalanopsis glauca, Syzygium buxifolium Hook.it was indicated that all had higher distribution of Cluster.Dominant species in descending order of degree of cluster were followed: cyclobalanopsis glauca, cyclobalanopsis chungii, Syzygium buxifolium Hook, Eurya muricata Dunn, E.loquiana Dunn, adinandra millettii, Cyclobalanopsis glauca and Lithocarpus glabra. The distributed pattern of C.fargeseii and Sapium discolor presents the uniform distribution.The results showed that the nature reserve of cyclobalanopsis chungii community population becomed a more significant clusters distribution.(2)Fitting of diameter distribution of main tree species of cyclobalanopsis chungii in the nature reserve by the methods of L-PRM,G–PRM,G-L-PRM,The coefficient correlation of each fitting equation are relatively high and the fitting result were satisfactive.Compared these methods with traditional methods,it showed that G–PRM and G-L-PRM had an better qualified rate than others.(3)With the growth of cyclobalanopsis chungii in the natural forest,there is an trend that the number of trees per unit area is gradually reduced. But with the increase of diameter class and canopy layer, it is still great potential in development at the later stage.The natural forest crown and the crown length development steadily with the growth of the diameter class and still keep an good potential development at the later age。Canopy(including crown and crown length) Present linear positive correlation with length and dimeters of tree, while the its growing race by length of tree greater than its by diameter of tree .(4) Through the Specific life table of the population cyclobalanopsis chungii,it showed that it is existed an obvious periodicity of cyclobalanopsis chungii , which nature regeneration process is slowly development among the growth of individual number,but there is an wavy development of short periodical;through the analysis of age class by the method of conversion from space to time,it was indicated that the population in the phase of development.(5)Through analysis of the Spatial structure parameters,it was indicated that the mixed degree forest was quite higher.The neighborhood comparison of the main species such as cyclobalanopsis chungii,C.fargeseii and Sapium discolor were quite higher,which had an advantageous position in competition.The distribution of the forest were between random and Non-uniform ,and the degree of isolate in species are gradually deduction by analysis of its mingling. the community of cyclobalanopsis chungii are gradually predominate at the Medium-term and late stage its neighborhood comparison index.(6)The Operational indicator system was been used in the forest health assessment under the molecular and small scale from the health status of forest was evaluated from five facets including productive,population structure,resistance ,soil condition and Social Economy .it was was unsatisfactory ,with the status of sub-health status;it showed that the same result by using the different methods of AHP and Projection Pursuit model .But the projection Pursuit model based on the genetic algorithm ,which can be given an new opinion and methods in modeling different types of forest,had an more important inapplication valve in forest health assessment.
