Fujian Province, which is located in the southeastern coast of China, is especially rich in water andradiation resources, and ranks the first in its forest coverage rate in China. This laid a foundation for Fujianagroecosystem to maintain its service value and health. However, the intrusive agriculture development, searching for higher profitability, has inflicted permanent damage to agroecosystems. Rapid deterioration ofstructure and functional properties in Fujian agroecosystems has intensified the need for research onagroecosystem service and health evaluation and agroecosystem management. Quantitative assessment ofagroecosystem service and health supplies solutions to these crises of resources and environment in Fujianagroecosystem, having real and far-reaching effects.Based on fully addressing the agroecosystem composition, structure and the process of agroecosystemfunction, combining disciplines such as ecology, economics, sociology, pedology and management theory, thisstudy evaluates value of agroecosystem services, including the values of Agriculture food production, Tourism,Art,Scientific research and education, Climate regulation, Water regulation and conservation, Soil productivitymaintenance and regeneration, Nutrient cycling, Fixation of carbon dioxide and release of oxygen andReduction of disaster such as weather disease and pest disease in Fujian agroecosystem. Then the evaluationsoverall value of Fujian agroecosystem service are followed. Analysis results show that the total value ofagroecosystem in Fujian province is up to 2.273201×1012 yuan RMB , which is far superior to the valuecalculated by traditional marketing methods.Based on the overall goal of agroecosystem health, the author combines the Delphi method with theAHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method, 18 indicators are selected and the weight of each index is workedout. Then a fuzzy evaluation model of agro-ecosystem health assessment is built up, and agroecosystem healthin Fujian is evaluated. The developmental upward tendency of overall health of agroecosystems in Fujianlooks like a M-curve trend. However, the current agroecosystem health status is not optimistic, being between"Relatively Healthy status"and" General Health status". Seen from the Composition of agricultural ecosystemsin Fujian Province, three subsystems health were up and down wandering "unhealthy status" and " RelativelyHealthy status "Ecological subsystem were in unhealthy status in 1978, then gradually transformed into a statebetween "Relatively Healthy status "and" General Health status"; Social subsystem health with steep climbsand descents kept in " General Health status", and taken on the trend of worsening; The health status of economy system closed to " Relatively health status" in 1978. However, It dropped below "general status"in1995. Finally, based on assessments of agroecosystem services and health in Fujian Province andcomprehensively analyzing stress factors in agroecosystem development in Fujian Province, pathways ofagroecosystem management from a holistic dimension are proposed to promote agroecosystem health andprovide a scientific basis for making science-based policy decisions and formulating new plans in agriculturaldevelopment.
