With the science and technology developing rapidly, agricultural ecological environment deterioration has become more serious. So this research assesses the agroecosystem health and ecological landscape pattern status of Luyang lake saline-alkali governance areas, which provide theoretical basis and scientific guidance for local rural development. The research established index system of agroecosystem health assessment concluding the vigor, organic structure and resilience. The index weight and the evaluation level was calculated though the analytic hierarchy process(AHP). Finally, comprehensive index method was used to calculate and analyze the ecosystem health index. At the same time, the paper assessed landscape situation in Luyang lake saline governance areas through the landscape ecological types, landscape dominance, landscape diversity of ecological quality. In the end, the article analyzed the local agricultural ecological system problem synthetically based on the agroecosystem health and the present status of landscape pattern. The main conclusions conclude that:(1) The agroecosystem of Luyang Lake area was at the sub-health state(health index was 5.667). There were different degrees problems in its vigor, organizational structure and resilience. So the local agriculture and economic development are backward, which is not conducive to the social stability and sustainable development of the local.(2) The landscape pattern was single, and the stability and recovery of the system is poor. The landscape ecology quality which is affected by human activity acutely was low. The main landscape type in study area was artificial ecosystem, the plaque of farmland and plantation landscape was concentrated and the relevant indicators were at the highest level. The natural ecosystem including shrub grassland landscape and riverine wetland occupied very small acreage, so it is difficult to play its regulatory role on the system.(3) Based on combined with the agroecosystem health assessment and ecological landscape pattern status, comprehensive analysis shows that the ecosystem states of Luyang lake saline governance area is low and urgent need to improve. In general, the problems of agricultural development in the Luyang Lake area include the following aspects:A. The high population density and the less land resource. Land is the most important natural resources to the Luyang Lake area which is dominated by agriculture and is the survival of farmers. But the increasing population exacerbate the local land crisis, and population carrying is in general ill. In the same time, the serious soil erosion, nutrient reduction, reduce the output of cultivated land, restricting the development of local agriculture.B. The single ecological structure and poor stability. The landscape pattern analysis showed that local farmland and economic forest is major landscape, the other landscape’s frequency accounted for only a small part. The landscape diversity is single structure, and is influenced by human.C. The low population quality and backward thinking. The local farmers’ cultural level is low, their thought is traditional, so that they receive the new mode of development and new technology on the land management hardly. They are lack of scientific literacy from the fundamental.D. High input, low output and planting industry development lags behind. The local agricultural investment capacity is in a state of health, but the net agricultural output per unit area is relatively low, which means high investment but low value, and agricultural eco efficiency is not high,.The direct result is to affect the per capita income farmers and restrict the development of local economy.
