Caragana Fabr. belongs to Leguminosae, Xinjiang is the place with abundent species diversity of Caragana both in China and in the world.In this article, native species to Xinjiang Caragana pumila,Caragana stenophylla,Caragana roborovskyi,Caragana acanthophylla Were studied from the following aspects:seed propagation,cutting propagation,seed and seedling salt stress,landscape viewing characteristics.After field investigations, indoor seed germination experiment and outdoor potted plants experiment, data processing, the following conclusions were obtained:(1)The experiments of seed germination showed that C. pumiLa and C. stenophylla seeds have high germination rate. The seed germination and seedling emergence of C. pumiLa and C. stenophylla are rapid and concentrative. Both the germination rate and index of C. roborovskyi and C. acanthophylla are low.(2)The experiment of dormnancy breakage showed that C. roborovskyi and C. acanthophylla and it treated at a higher concentration of sulfuric acid the germination rate, the results are satisfactory to break seed dormancy; warm water treatment and mechanical treatment methods are conducive to breaking off, but no significant treatment effect of GA; level of treatment, ethylene treatment, Alkali, liquid nitrogen, and other methods combined effect results bad. Observed by scanning electron microscopy, seed coat is the impact of C. roborovskyi and C. acanthophylla and this an important factor in seed germination.(3)Salt stress experiments showed that different concentrations of NaCl stress inhibted the seed germination of seed of C. pumila and C. stenophylla germination rate decreased with the increase of NaCl stress concentration and the highest germination rate was get in the control; Soil salinity habitats of C. pumila and C. stenophylla reflect the characteristics of the seed germination of two species habitat on their adaptability. Different concentrations of NaCl stress affected the of the conductance ratio, MDA content, content of proline four species of Caragana L.Three physiological indicators showed that C. stenophylla has higher salt resistance ability than C. acanthophylla.(4)Drought experiment showed that different concentrations of PEG stress inhibition the germinationing of C. pumila,C. stenophylla,C. roborovskyi and C. acanthophylla seed. With the general trend of increasing concentration of PEG decreased in the control treatment to obtain the maximum germination rate; Processing time of drought stress in different have a certain extent with the conductance ratio, MDA content, content of proline of C. pumila,C. stenophylla,C. roborovskyi and C. acanthophylla.Relative water content of the roots of four species of Caragana L. and habitats on soil moisture and drought stress, and integrated the three physiological indicators, the results show that C. stenophylla has higher drought resistance ability than C. acanthophylla.
