China's traditional agricultural production which mainly depends on the management experience of the development model has not suited to sustainable agricultural development. Over-exploitation of land, environmental degradation, reduced quality and high costs of agricultural produces have reflected the disadvantages of the traditional agricultural management model. Precision agriculture specified a sustainable development model of the future of agriculture. The core idea of precision agriculture is the implementation of refined management of crops. For example: understanding of each small area of land of water, fertility and other factors. Fertilization and watering of crops as required. This model not only can improve the use of land, and reduced investment in agricultural production, improve yield and quality of agricultural products. To achieve the above precision agriculture, requires a combination of all modern science and technology. This study is to obtain accurate information on agricultural areas in the field approaches. In this paper, we talk about the field information acquisition approaches in precision agriculture.Agricultural information retrieval system includes the sensor information collection, regional information gathering, data transmission and processing. In this paper, we use signal processing, ZigBee, GPS, GPRS and other technologies to build a remote agricultural information retrieval system. The work we do is as follows.1. Detailed hardware design, design power supply system, a variety of sensor signal processing, ZigBee wireless transmission hardware. Circuit simulation and design analysis2. Complete the driver layer and application layer related design of ZigBee protocol stack. Remote data access server to complete the relevant design software. Complete the design of remote data acquisition software.3. complete the integration of agricultural information retrieval system and experiments4. Introduced that Agricultural information retrieval system applications in Translation irrigation and variable rate fertilizationThe experiments prove that the system can complete remote Agricultural information retrieval, and the results are satisfactory. If making relevant changes, this system can also be used in precision agriculture technology to solve the remote information acquisition.
