Effect Of The Isoflavones On The Growth Performance And Slaughter Performance And Lipid Metabolism Of Cherry Valley Duck

The research was carried out to study the effects of the isoflavones(soybean isoflavones,puerarin,pueraria isoflavones)of different plant sources as feed additive on the growth performance,slaughter performance and lipid metabolism of different sexes of Cherry Valley duck from eight to fourty-two ages.The research was composed of three trials:Trial 1:It was designed as analyzable reasoned experiment of double factor with four levels.A were different additive levels of soybean isoflavones(A1,A2,A3,A4 received basal diets supplemented with soybean isoflavones at 0,5,10,15mg/kg,respectively.).B were different sexes (B1 were drakes,B2 were female ducks).The 160 ducks were randomly allotted eight treatments,each treatment represented by four replicate of 5 ducks.Trial 2:It was designed as same as trial 1 except that A was puerarin.Trial 3:It was designed as analyzable reasoned experiment of double factor with four levels.A were different additives(A1 received basal diets,A2,A3,A4 received basal diets supplemented with soybean isoflavones,puerarin,pueraria isoflavones at 10mg/kg,respectively). B were different sexes (B1 were drakes,B2 were female ducks).The 160 ducks were randomly allotted eight treatments,each treatment represented by four replicate of 5 ducks. The results showed as follows:1.The ducks received basal diets supplemented with soybean isoflavones at 15mg/kg reduced consuming feed(p=0.000),but there had no significant effect on average daily grain.The average daily grain of the three groups of puerarin all were higher than control group,and 15mg/kg was the best. It is obvious that with age increasing,puerarin showed promoting ducks'growth .In terms of the increase of average daily grain:the drakes received basal diets supplemented with puerarin at 10mg/kg had best effect.According to the compare of three additives,the promoting growth effect was best to the drakes with puerarin.2.The female ducks received basal diets supplemented with soybean isoflavones at 10mg/kg had the best effect on reducing sebum contentsat prophase.The ducks received basal diets supplemented with puerarin all reduced abdominal adipose contents at prophase(P=0.443),and the best effect was at 10mg/kg, the sebum contents were lower than control group at 15mg/kg(P>0.05).The three additives had effect on reducing abdominal adipose...
