The biodiversity is the result of the life evolve over long time, and which is the substantial base for the human being to exist on the earth. However it is now faced with the threatener from the increasing population and economic action. In order to build biology data of Baishuijiang Natural Reserve and offer the scientific base for the soil investigation in future, the number of soil microbe and the diversity of mould were investigated which were collected from the elevation from 1 000 to 2 800 meters in the Baishuijiang Natural Reserve. Now the major results studied in the paper are abstracted as follows:1. The total current was the quantity of microbe descend with the increasing altitude in Baishuijiang Natural Reserve. The maximal number of soil microbe was 679.91×105ind./g·dry soil at the 1 000 meters elevation. And the minimal number of soil microbe was 32.50×105ind./g·dry soil at the 2 800 meters elevation.2.31 types and 133 genus of mould were found during the investigation , which would offer the scientific base for reaserch in future.3. The quantity of mildew fell to zero above altitude 2700 meters. It showed that it was not fit to survival and propagate for mildew above altitude 2700 meters in Baishuijiang Natural Reserve.4. The color of penicillium was not almost caesious as described before, but it was chalkiness. The shape of penicillium was very different in Baishuijiang Natural Reserve to others region. Maybe it was casused by physical metabolize. So it need to be studied futher.5. The allocation of mildew is very great in the common soil. But it was low in Baishuijiang Natural Reserve, which was mainly because that the mildew distribution was related with the human action .6. The correlations between mould and the ecological factors varied. The quantity and diversity of mould were significantly correlated with temperature and organic matter. In contrast, they correlated less with total nitrogen, much less with pH and C/N.7. There were some new record species of mould in this investigation, which were temporarily named by The Baishuijing penicilliumⅠ, The Baishuijing penicilliumⅡ, The Baishuijing penicilliumⅢand the Baishuijiang mildewⅠ. And their value need to be researched in the future.
