In this paper,480 one-day age cherry volley ducks were randomly divided into six groups. (B, C, D, E and F groups) and control group (A group). The percentage of polysaccharide added in the B, C, D and E groups were 0.2% 0.4%, 0.6% and 0.8%, respectively. The antibiotic was added in F group. Each group was divided into four repeatable treatments.The paper explored the influence of Polysaccharide of Atractylodes macrocephala koidz on meat duck, and provided the direct theory evidence of exploitation of polysaccharide additives. The details are as follows:1. During 1- 14-day age, Feed intake and ADG in F group inproved significantly(P<0.05)compared with other groups; feed efficiency in F group increased significantly(P<0.05)compared with C and E groups.Index of the spleen in D treatment inproved significantly(P<0.05)compared with A treatment;Index of the thymus in D treatment inproved significantly(P<0.05) compared with other treatments.treatments; Index of Bura of Fabricious in F treatment was much better than(P<0.05) E treatment. D treatment inproved significantly(P<0.05) compared with other treatments.Bifidobacterium in the treatment E was scignificantly(P<0.05) higher than A,F and C treatments. Lactobacillus among C,D and E A F B treatments present the significance difference (P<0.05);Escherichia coli in each of Polysaccharide treatments were scignificantly(P<0.05) higher than A and F treatments. Concentration of IGF-1 in serum in A, C and E treatments was scignificantly (P<0.05)lower than D treatment. Serum BUN concentration in A treatment was scignificantly (P>0.05) higher than C treatment;Serum AMM concentration in B treatment was also scignificantly (P>0.05) higher than C and D treatments.2 During 15-28-day age,ADG in B treatment increased significantly(P<0.05) compared with D and F groups;Feed intake in B,C,D,E and F groups increased significantly(P<0.05) compared with A group;feed efficiency in A group decreased significantly(P<0.05) compared with D and F treatments,D treatment inproved significantly(P<0.05) respectively compared with other treatments. Bifidobacterium in the treatment E was scignificantly(P<0.05) higher than A,F and C treatments.
