Bacterial strains As-1, As-2,As-3, Ag-1 were isolated from the leaves of banana in Jingling town of Nanning city in Guangxi. These strains were classified into the genus of Rhizobium Frank and Agrobacterium Conn according to their morphology, physiological and biochemical characteristics and analysis of 16S rDNA sequence. For the growth of strain As-1,As-2,As-3, the optimum pH and temperature were 6.5 and 31℃, respectively. For the growth of strain Ag-1, the optimum pH and temperature were 7.0 and 41℃, respectively. It could use many substance as carbon and nitrogen source.Inoculations of banana with strain As-1 were carried out by means of brushing leaf, watering root, spray, dripping strain, cutting leaf and puncturing leaf. The results showed that the inoculation methods of brushing leaf, dripping strain, cutting leaf and puncturing leaf could lead to infections of leaves by the strain; No infection was observed on the leaves with watering root and spray could inoculation methods. Strain As-1 could infected Saigon banana and Musa uranoscopus. Meanwhile, the strain As-1 could infected all leaves of banana with different age.The results of chemical control test indicated that sensitivities of strain...
