Several experiments were conducted to study the effect of dietary energy , protein and sulphur amino acids on performances, slaughter performance and meat quality of Cenxi chicken. The objective of this research is to determine the optimum level of dietary energy , protein and sulphur amino acids for Cenxi chicken.Experiment one 1080 one day old Cenxi chicks were randomly divided into 9 groups with 40 birds each, the experimental diets were designed to contain 11.52 MJ/ Kg, 12.13 MJ/ Kg and 12.74 MJ/ Kg energy; 18%,20% ,and 22% protein ; 0.71%,0.84% and 0.97% sulphur amino acids ,respectively. Chicks were fed designed diets for six weeds from 0 to 6 weeks of age, feed intake, body weight gain were recorded weekly and serum uric acid of chicks fed designed diet were measured at 6 weeks of age .The results showed that feed intake and body weight gain were increased and feed to gain ratio was improved by higher energy level ( P<0.05)based on the body weight gain index, the optimum level of dietary energy protein and sulphur amino acids for this period...
