Pinus elliottii×Pinus caribaea is the hybrid offspring of Pinus elliottii and Pinus caribaea. It is hightest regarded by foresting researcher for its high prolificacy and its large adaptability, and recent years it is greatly spreaded in Southern China. But the problem of the supply of seeds and seedings couldn't meed the need by afforestation is becoming more glaring with each passing year for low seeds production of it's F1 and F2 offsprings. So, it is of great value to propagate rapidly seedlings of Pinus elliottii×Pinus caribaea by the means of tissue culture. The inducing,propagation,growth and rooting of Pinus elliottii×Pinus caribaea were studed in this paper. The preliminary experiments' results as follows:1. The inducing research is done in the DCR medias with high 6-BA and low NAA as the tender stems of the years as the explants in this research. The results revealed that the 6-BA concentrate played the primary effect, the suitable reducing method of axillary buds of pinus elliottii×pinus caribaea is DCR +3.0 mg/L 6-BA + 0.1 mg/L NAA, and the frequency is 42.9% , the reducing buds mainly are vigorous tufty buds with slight callus.2. The grown bud can be cut to 1cm stem to propagate, the result shew that the the concentrate of 6-BA is great prominence and modest NAA can promote the propagation of the axillary buds of pinus elliottii×pinus caribaea.The best media of propagation is DCR +2.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.2 mg/L NAA, in this instance, the propagation rat is 96.7% and the propagation multiple is 6.2.3. The elongation and growth of the middle propagated bodyes explained that DCR media with high nutriment is feasible to the middle propagated bodyes, NAA can speed the elongation and growth with the average growth rat is 442.64% when the concentrate of NAA is 0.3mg/L; AC can speed the growth and revive the labefaction of gassy in the bottle synchronously; the sucrose' concent has a effect not only to the speed of growth but only to the shape of the middle propagated bodyes, the growth are haleness and visible just when the sucrose concentrate is 20 g/L.4. Rooting research indicated that the feasible rooting media to the regenerated plantlets of pinus elliottii×pinus caribaea is 1/2 DCR. And the best rooting media is 1/2DCR+2.0 mg/L NAA, in this instance, the rooting rat is 53.3%, the average rooting number is 9.4 in every unit.
